I own Deathadder Elite and Basilisk hyperspeed
No problem fam, I love audio and tech peripherals, especially on a budget.
Hold on let me hold them
k
The Deathadder
ok
For comfort
ill test them out, but i think ill go for the deathadder
No problem, all it matters is your comfort
agreed
Is hard to go wrong with either these two series
There is a reason why the death adder is still one of the most popular mouse in the world
I just there is a bluetooth version of it
No, mamba is different before anyone says anything
It seems that you know about this, when you end with them could you help me with something tae? Its about the kraken TE
btw @worthy arch these headphones are good for music
BTW, other than blackshark v2 I swore off razer audio devices, so I can't help you there.
hyperx cloud stinger
Well anyways its a mic thing im just triying to make something up but idk what else to do
Basically to sum up i got those like yesterday? And the mix doesent seems to work on the pc (even tho it does work on synapse) because i can hear my own voice there
wait bennyboi what are those
hyperx cloud stingers
oh yeah
very good
Tried with both the thx device plugged and unpligged.
If you dont know how to fix it you know someone who could?
i got them on sale for 60 AUD
they actually 100 tho
pretty cheap
for a solid headset
ikr
were they on clearnace or smth
super comftorable
yeah ive heard
clearance
o
Something
they were just on sale lol
also, if you're looking for audio i would recommend turtle beach but my audio on them broke so i had to return them back to the store
the audio was so good i literally had to take them off and check if the noise was coming from somewhere else
and that was just on the minecraft music
im not jking as well
@worthy arch
a razer wireless pc controller would be sick, random thought
Tried with both the thx device plugged and unpligged.
If you dont know how to fix it you know someone who could?
@eager socket I have the kraken tes explain the issue in more detail
Finally.
@toxic bluff terrible
nope
@smoky hedge
Sorry i was sleeping.
Basically the problem is:
You know on razer synapse that option on the mic that lets you hear your own voice right? Well, there the headset works perfectly withlut any problems but when i go to try it in any other app it doesent works (not even cortana) but when i switch to phone it does work, i tried it with discord, whatsapp and skype
ok so when i first bought my pair, the aux port on the soundcard and the aux on the headphones wernt going in properly, the audio worked but input didnt so i unplugged it and put it in with force and that fixed it
Wdym by with force? The point is that the thx device should make it as an aux converter making it as if i were plugging the adapter to mic and audio since its using an usb port
@toxic bluff I’m looking to get a blackwidow elite as well. Can u tell me how loud those green switches are?
And thanks @jaunty kindle
@worthy arch i have the regular blackwidow with green switches, and they are pretty loud lol
I've had the BW elite for about 9 months. I'd say they are a bit louder then cherry mx blue switches. But they feel great got typing and having
Gaming
I'd say a bit more
lol
Thats from a slow keyboard
cherry
L
“Slow keyboard” what?
no keyboard is slow
no
There's membrane keyboards with a advertised 1ms input just because a keyboard is mech doesn't mean it's faster
you would be hard pressed to notice a difference in speed between cheap membrane keyboard and an expensive mech keyboard
All keyboard is slow compared to Razer Linear Optical Switches
The only real gain I think that you would be able to see is the durability
shut up lmao
optical switches are a gimmick you will NOT find a “slow keyboard”
for optical switches to be even noticeably better you would have to correct monitor latency, monitor cable latency, mouse latency, and everything in your computer
That is true, literally I can use any keyboard and not notice a difference, it can be slower but only by time the your brain won’t even notice
I notice a very big difference compared to Cherry MX Blues
@worthy arch theyre indeed quite loud, but I like it about em. They aint annoying to me.
@toxic bluff are they louder than outemu blues?
Didnt have those so I cant tell.
Is what louder that mx blues?
they are a tad bit louder then the mx blues. reds are quieter then blues
imo greens are louder.
Are the greens louder than opto reds
Bc I have the te and the opto reds are pretty loud for being linear
the new opto reds which are on the huntsman mini are way quieter, they pre lube them and have dampners in the switches
so can someone help me?
how do i change the onboard profile from my deathadder?
please ping me if you answer
i need razer man o war original ear pads
^
hello
Sup
the sky
https://www.razer.com/fr-fr/gaming-audio/razer-nari-ultimate-for-xbox-one
https://www.razer.com/fr-fr/gaming-audio/razer-thresher-for-xbox-one
who can tell me which is the best please ?
Yep I'm sure it has Hypersense
Ok ^^ thx
Np!
bruh is there 2 nari ultimates 1 for pc and 1 for xbox
It is Xbox and PC compatible
any chance we will see a right handed version of this?
here is the normal right handed one https://amzn.to/340qKZR @fluid dagger
ik the trinity exists
worse cable
worse skates
worse sensor
and you can BARELY get the weight the same
with EXTREME modding
It's an old model I believe
well not quite old
... not happy with Razer over that, they should have gotten the LH Naga Trinity
I mean ig why they made it a fixed right side on the left handed version
Thank goodness I'm right handed
would drive up costs even more for a product that already is a hard sell
btw this is only 5g lighter than the left handed one
Yeah, that definitely sounds like an old Naga model they used for the LH Naga
so the left handed one must have gotten quite some love
?
the left handed one is technically superior
it has a better sensor, same one as in the deathadder v2 and viper/basilisk ultimate
it has the newer cable they have started using since the viper
and newer skates
all of which are superior to the trinity
Maybe I'll upgrade if they make a Naga Trinity V2
the only thing it didn't get was the optical switches
but until they do, the Trinity is the only mouse I want to use
which is not that much of a drawback
But yeah, I doubt RH gamers will get that version of the Naga made for them
too big for me personally, but I have freinds that love the naga
love my naga trinity, i want trinity wireless tho XD
Ive got a question regarding the Nari Ultimate, would I be able to use it wired while its charged with all the features like hypersense?
afaik I cant use hypersense if the nari ultimate isnt charged but wired, but is it possible as long as its charged? Just theoretically.
Does anybody know?
yes, you'll be able to use all of the features while charging; the only thing that you won't have is the ability to move freely(due to it being connected by a chord) @toxic bluff
No, I dont mean while charging, I mean while its connected via the 3,5 connection
I cant seem to get them to work
Oh god I selected them in the sound thing (they were displayed as headphones, not as razer nari whatever) and the sound is terrible xD
Guess it only works properly wireless
@toxic bluff haptic needs power to function
Yes, but does the headset really disable haptics while its connected via aux?
because the headset was almost fully loaded
- the sound was terrible with the aux connection
@toxic bluff well, it doesnt 'disable' it but theyre not turning on cuz the headset has no power
while wireless the headset uses its battery, that battery doesnt disappear when i connect it via aux u know what I mean? 😄 Theoretically it should still be able to use the batteries while connected via aux, or no?
also, have u got that headset yourself? 😄
oh i thought you meant while charging and not powered on, my bad, i just read your thing from earlier
XD
no problem 😄
in that case it prolly does disable it
yea guess so 😄
prolly only gets the signal to use it through wireless
But thats not even the biggest issue haha. That aux cable is useless if the sound that I heard is the sound this thing is set to with that cable
And everything was plugged in completely, so yea 😄
either wireless or not at all I guess 😄
with aux, your pc prolly only recognizes it as generic headphones, you prolly wont be able to use the 'nari game' or whatever audio channel
exactly
you prolly get a wack noise cause signal interferance
It only recognizes them as normal headphones
the sound was terrible. I mean I knew what I was listening to, but it was horrible xD
but yea, have you got the headset yourself?
ahh alright, what EQ settings are u using if I may ask? 😄
i just use the gaming preset and no enhancements
ahh alright
i havent sepnt time tweaking it at all sounds fine to me
as I also listen to music on my pc from time to time the game preset isnt really what I want 😄
truu i dont use mine to listen to music
Ive found a good one on reddit or so, but Im always looking for other ones to test them as well 😄
too lazy to do it myself with brown noise or however thats called 😄
thats when the sounds cancels out right?
the brown noise
idk, im not much of an audiophile, it sounds better than monitor speakers thats all i know haha
i just read that online, its some kinda sound that makes it easier for you to set the parameters correctly / to your liking
oh ok
so you come closer to the "natural" sound of what the game/music/whatever youre listening to is supposed to sound like
How do Razer switches compare to Cherry MX switches in terms of quality?
Are Razer switches going to be cheap knockoffs?
The thresher 7.1 and thresher ultimate are the same just one has a base and stand right?
from the rankings i found online 1.Cherry MX
2.Gateron
3.Outemu
4.Kailh/Razer
So Razer switches are shitty
in terms of quality of the actual switch
not shitty
there are many many kinds and brands of switches much worse
lowest of the top tier i would say
So do I really have anything to worry about
I just ordered a Black Widow Elite to replace my Ornata
yeah you got nothing to worry about, blackwidow is a solid choice
Alright, thanks.
I was desperate trying to find a Cherry MX Blue keyboard that was similar to the Black Widow Elite but I couldnt
So I caved
So do I really have anything to worry about
@viscid grove
I personally love my black widow elite, if you wanted something even nicer the huntsman with the clicky purple switches are even more amazing then the Razer green switches
@viscid grove
I personally love my black widow elite, if you wanted something even nicer the huntsman with the clicky purple switches are even more amazing then the Razer green switches
@wintry fern huntsman elite with the purple switches is what i have , its amazing
just finished deep cleaning it too, feels amazing
I have the purples on my huntsman mini. They are super nice
I personally love my black widow elite, if you wanted something even nicer the huntsman with the clicky purple switches are even more amazing then the Razer green switches
@wintry fern What is Purple similar to in Cherry MX
Think of it kind of like a better version of the Razer green / mx blue. It's clicky like both of those but they are faster and lighter then both of those switches
I'd compare it like a challenger hemi vs the hellcat. It has the click of a green but the speed of a mx speed switch
Better version of mx blue is good
how big is the viper mini
i have a medium sized hand its like 7 inches long
will it be too small for me or is it usuable
I have about a 6.5 inch hand and I find it the perfect size
Came from a basilisk and had no issues adjusting
ok thx
what can i use to glue the rubber thumb piece back on the naga trinity 7 key attatchment
dunno
a dab of hot glue it is
I saw some useful not gamer hacks you could do, like code to copy + paste, or excel commands
maybe see if you could purchase that attachment
@timid pasture do you use palm grip
I'm definitely a claw grip, I grip my mouse like a bird and it's prey.
What mice for palm grips
Razer has a helpful guide to help you select the best mouse for your style. Check it out @violet idol
I might change to claw grip
is basilisk palm?
Which one
Lol I use the Deathadder for palm grip
^^
@waxen crescent yes it's a solid keyboard. And sometimes you can find the normal huntsman on sale for under $100 usd
i need a new keyboard, my Blackwidow Chroma is broken lol
i need a new keyboard, my Blackwidow Chroma is broken lol
@flint valley
What budget are you trying to stay in
i just want a keyboard with dedicated macro buttons. the BlackWidow /Huntsman Elite dont have that
i think my only option is to buy another Blackwidow Chroma. its the perfect option for me
What do you mean the extra buttons?
yeah these ones
what is a good mousepad with rgb?
I am feeling like getting a new PC next year with a razer basalisk ultimate and a mouse pad since I am using a chinese mouse and a cardboard
The Goliathus extended chroma
bruh
it is as long as a table
I will be getting a new table too so I might get this
Yes it allows you to put both your keyboard & mice on the pad. You could always go with the non extended if it's too big. Or even the firefly v2
I like the goliathus
been watching the price on viper ultimates on amazon and now theyre just gone..
oof...prob not going to come in stock on amazon again as its considered non essential
how do you do the colors on the Razer Huntsman Mini without software?
FN +1-7 i belive
Okay thanks
@flint valley you could also get a StreamDeck to get those keys. And they're more flexible than the macro keys too of the Blackwidow
Obv thats the more expensive way to go but the far better one imo
so should i go for either of blackwidow/Hunstman Elite? theyre 2 year old keyboards. not sure if there will be newer versions this year
I just recently got my hands on the BW Elite and Im very happy with it. Yes, theyre already 2 years old, but you never know when Razer is about to release something.
Hey what a good software for the Razer Hunstman Mini
Synapse 3
What switch are better purple or red
depends what you like
purple is clicky, red is linear
personally i like purple, but i plan to get something with red eventually to try it out
I like Red
purple is loud, red is silent. Pruple are close to a Cherry Mx Blue in terms of sound.
both are quite light switches for the mini, but the reds are close to an mx silver. and not on the huntsman mini they are quite quiet since they updated the switches
yeah they added some kinda silicon dampeners and its wayyy quieter now
The PBT keycaps make it louder
that to, thats the downside to pbt its louder tings, but the caps last longer
Yeah
I don't like the red itself I can't edit it well in the game I hope the purple can do that well
wdym?
with the red switch I cannot edit properly in the game and with other switches I can
ahh
I see whatcha mean
Red is better for me
haha everyone's own choice
what do you mean edit ? like for game recording the sound ?
tested the purple in the store and it was nice so I'm going to buy the Razer Hunstman Mini when it's out with the purple switch
Zach fortnite buildings
its already out with purples and reds. oh now it makes sense.
its in stock on amazon, I do not know when Razer plans to restock the site though https://amzn.to/2CrBipt
Do Amazon delivery to Netherlands
im not sure
Anyone know when the Razer Huntsman mini is in stock? Purple switch/black
i got a question
does the kraken 7.1 v2 have foam underneath the mic in order for spit or water to not damage anything?
have you guys seen the blackwidow v3 tkl yet?
what would be better: the blackshark v2 x, or the kraken x?
blackshark
thx
What's that
A smart band what they released a couple years back
I got it free with my kraken pro when I got it
lol they still sell tho
Yea
The Nabu is how I got seriously into Razer. Their developer program looked so promising and I made two apps for it. Does anyone remember Home for Razer?
has anyone ever lubed the razer green swithces on the blackwidow elite? I just bought this after using teh huntsmen te for about 9 months and its a bit scratchy... not something that is incredibly deal breaking for me like I like the clickiness, but anything to make it a bit smoother?
with the huntsman you can't lube the switches i want to say, without breaking the switches. im sure you can look on youtube for some videos of lubing the green switches though
Scratchy? Have you tried remove your keyboard keys and cleaning your keyboard?
what does the like 8500 dpi optical sensor mean on the viper mini
@wintry fern I lived my te switches and they are considerably smoother
But thanks for the info
@wild vessel it’s brand new
If there is the case, I'm against oiling the keys as there are quite a few inter parts, you can try contacting Razer support regarding the issue.
It means Dots per inch. Basically how sensitive a mouse is though it's not the same as regular sensitivity. If you combine a higher dpi with a low sensitivity it'll result in smoother motion, vise versa low dpi with high sensitivity will result in less smooth motion.
Realisticly though most people don't use 8500 dpi or even 3000+ as you won't notice any difference besides a super sensitive mouse on your desktop @violet idol
Also optical is just the kind of sensor it is. Almost all mice are optical now adays
Anyone here have the HDK light strips? @ me if you do, I've got a few questions
@tame marten what are your questions you can put them here
- I read somewhere that Synapse has trouble distinguishing between diff sets if you have more than one, is that an issue for you?
- How's the syncing across the length of the strip?
- Do you think it'd function as an ambilight if I used Ambient awareness and stuck them around my monitor?
- Ever experienced any issues driving all the lights through USB?
Edit this to change the output of the command!
So running it just with usb it isnt as bright as if you use dc power plus usb. The syncing is actually really nice, every diode on the strip is addressable, no issues with driving them on my laptop. i only have one set (two strips) it would be good as back ambiant lights. just dont have the, to bright because they are quite bright
Do they draw power from usb when DC in is connected or is it just data?
a little power
I see, thanks for the info - I'll @ you if I have any other questions :)
i bought the razer kraken stormtrooper ed and my mic still doesnt work even with the splitter
on a laptop btw
Maybe ur headset is muted🤷♂️
Maybe ur headset is muted🤷♂️
@swift karma i tried everything 😔
The I don't know
@regal niche please contact Razer support support.razer.com
@wild vessel I don’t think it’s a problem with the manufacturing it’s just how it feels in comparison to the huntsmen switches. It’s a bit more rough and scratchy but it’s not a reason to return it
Which is quieter the black widow elite yellow switch or cynosa v2?
Which is quieter the black widow elite yellow switch or cynosa v2?
@mighty marsh I mean from some stuff I've read people say the oranges are actually quieter then the yellows. But if you want to reduce the sound even more you could put o-rings in the stems of the keycaps
@digital tundra the cynosa is way quieter Bc it’s membrane
Tarterus or Orbweaver? Opinions?
Thanks for letting me know, a quiet keyboard will do me good in uni and at night
Personally I feel like the BW elite will last you longer.
@mighty marsh no problem, membranes are almost almost the quieter option. However, if you want a quiet mechanical razer variant, the blackwidow elite or any other model that offers yellow switches is also a good keyboard if you want silence as zackpowers said
Opinions on the be elite?
I love my elite it's really nice, i replaced the keycaps for pbt keycaps and its amazing
Damn, I assume you have tested it
tested what ?
I had tested a bw elite in a store before and I am planning on purchasing it within next week or so, unsure whether to yet
@wintry fern which razer keyboards do you have
and also are teh razer abs keycaps double shot or just lazer bladed
that im not sure but the upgrade ones they sell are double shot pbt. BW Elite and Huntsman Mini
my mini has becme my main, the only reason the bw elite is still on my desk is for the numpad
there fine
Got my blackwidow coming Saturday
nice! which model?
Is the steelseries qck mini smaller or the goliathus mobile steatlh edition, just curious
Google the demensions bud

Blackwidow Elite dunk
Nice same
WHY is the Viper Ultimate not USB-C? It would fit in perfectly with my setup rn but microUSB just sucks!
Honestly a Viper Ultimate with a chroma scroll wheel would be my dream mouse :(
^^^
Hopefully they make that a reality, I will definitely buy one
Right now the viper mini only has two rgb light places
The other viper variants only have rgb on the logo I believe
The thing is, the logo on the viper is towards the butt of the mouse which makes it look imbalanced, an RGB scroll wheel would make it look great imo
Yeah most of the time you can’t see the rgb lol
Especially because in the dark, all you can see is the logo which just looks like its floating
true
Not integrated with Razer Chroma though
and the looks aren't minimalist like the Viper's
The Razer product devs did such a great job with the Huntsman TE - asking for ideas and feedback from the community over on Reddit, working with keyboard enthusiasts as they developed the keyboard
But idk if they really did too much of that with the Viper - who approved microUSB in 2019?
Hello, I bought the razer nari ultimate for xbox one and the mic barely picks up my voice, how can I fix it?
@fringe phoenix #351097273226362880
Ok thx
Np
Hello, I bought the razer blade 15 advanced and it already got scratches on the charging port on two days of ownership.
Hello when is the Razer Huntsman mini purple switch in the shop black
@alpine carbon if you're asking when it comes back in stock, none of us know.
Oh okay.
Best bet is to just be patient and wait.
Okay
how much does the viper mini weigh?
can someone help me with my nari ultimate
its garbage
it just keeps disconnecting then reconnecting and half the time thx spatial doesnt work and idk what to do
someone plz help me
I have the Razer Nari Essential
kinda
not a big fan of it xd
sounds like im talking into trash bag
but it is what it is
@livid lotus it’s 61 grams. I have the full sized viper, and it’s really light
@livid lotus it’s 61 grams. I have the full sized viper, and it’s really light
@glossy parrot ok, thank you
Np!
anyone compare the V2 and V2 X ? i seen the reviews on youtube and still thinking which I should get
I just got my mini today and I really like it
Huntsman mini
Sorry
Yeah
I didn't think that I would like a 60% but so far its nice
I really like the sublegends being rgb and the switches are so smootb
Smooth*
I just upgraded from a blackwidow v3
I would have preferred a tkl but I heard how much the mini's switches where so I chose the mini
The razer bw elite is synapse 2 correct?
No it's also synapse 3
Miss type on the 2 lmao I meant 3 thanks
Just double checking if I needed to install anything else except from the drivers for the keyboard when it arrives
so im interested in the huntsman series and im deciding between huntsman te and mini, i want a loud keyboard (but not the elite) but i heard the mini is better. why is the switch better apart from it being lubed? is there any improvements to the switch performance itself like the actuation? why is the travel distance less on the mini than the te? is the optical thingy better on mini than te?
Il start by saying I love my hunstman mini, other then them lubing them and making them faster switches nothing really has been changed on the purple switches. Now as far as the te vs mini. Do you use arrows keys alot? If so then go te. If not then go mini
i want speed, but i want them loud
why are the red mini switches faster than the red te switches though
how
it says the huntsman mini has less travel distance
they added rubber dampeners or smth inside
making them faster
so that decreases travel distance for bottoming out
thats better isnt it
yes
its only .5 difference though
1mm
but it probably stayed the same
for both models
if it stayed the same then theres no difference
3.5mm travel distance for te and 3mm for mini
you dont need to bottom out to actuate
i know
so chances are in gaming you wont
i do bottom out sometimes but thats just me
do u think the ping in the te would be noticeable
i did watch it and everyone was disgusted by the ping but i am not
their ears are trained to much higher quality keyboards
so dont listen to them its always exaggerated reactions
idk why they would say they lube it then dont do it
but factory lubing has always been shit
inconsistent as hell
as far as I know, the mini's switches aren't even lubed
randomfrankp took apart the switches and they had no sign of lubing
if you want something loud then get the te
ive seen a lot of reviews online and the mini's space bar seems to be really rattley but they may have fixed that by now
I agree with all that
spacebar rattle will always be there tho
because its a prebuilt keyboard
Don’t listen to the taehatypes community, there’s a lot of gate keeping and elitist stuff going on. Just find ur own personal preference, we’re just here to give you some tips 🙂 @dusk mist
yea I hate the mech enthusiast gatekeeping
maybe it would be more popular if keeb people didnt think so highly of themselves
@worthy arch alright thanks dude
when im at my family's house i cant wait to wake up the sleeping babies and they cant do anything about it
its about time they deal with some noise they cant stop
love how keeb people will say "its all about preference" and then at the same time shit on everyones preference
love how keeb people will say "its all about preference" and then at the same time shit on everyones preference
@alpine carbon
When it comes to it when you ask "what mouse should I get" well I have a big hand and if you have a small one then what is comfy for me may not be for you
some people get that
it just honestly comes down to whats comfy for you, the best bet imo is to go try it out. some people like clicky switches others like silent switches and for some reason some prefer membrane
Lol obama gaming so true the custom keyboard community is so elitist
That’s pretty much the reason why I don’t like to associate myself with that community, they’re really pretentious and custom keyboards are really expensive
i probably wont get a custom keyboard
its not worth it
cant u just get a huntsman mini and customize the keycaps
If it work for you
you wont be able to tell the diff between a huntsman mini with different keycaps and a custom keyboard
Making your own keyboard adds a lot of personality and you can pick and choose a bunch of stuff like keycaps switches case PCb and a lot of other stuff
Most people usually get like an Anne pro 2 or a ducky one 2 mini and get custom keycaps if they want more personality
You can do that with the huntsmen as well if you like the opto switches
pew pew
Which keyboard do you have rn
cynosa chroma
Oh sick
i bought it at the time when i knew nothing about keyboards
now i know it was a massive mistake
no dude
U want the huntsmen mini?
O
im tired of the silence
is it louder than cherry mx brown
Yes
just want to beat my cousin is all
It’s louder than you think
comparable to mx blues?
Yes
I’m not even joking
Mx blues are more piercing but the te switches are more clacky
Lol yes
I like that picture
give them what they deserve
Oh so revenge on baby
yes
Understandable
it stubbed its toe and said "o my fot"
no
Oh
the toe thing is a difference scenario
A lot
for ibm model m
Buckling capacitive springs
cool
It old
it doesnt seem to be in the store so ill just put a megaphone on the keyboard
cant wait to tell my family that the keyboard cant get quieter
O
I have a question
I have a razer blackwidow elite keyboard
And is there a way to combine 2 lightning effect
So like have the wave rainbow light
and the ripple for when i click a key
I have the razer synapse thing
Yeah
You just click on the effect you want and layer it
I have:
Ripple
Reactive
Audio
Spectrum Cycle
Hey guys
Need help
Can’t decide on a new mouse!
I have considered razer options and non razer options, and despite some non razer potentially having benefits, I just like the razer design. Main 3 mice I can’t decide between are mamba wireless 2018, mamba elite, and basilisk v2. Used to own a mamba TE but it broke twice, so I’m just hoping the products are a bit more quality in general
I’m not sure if the mamba wireless will be a great wireless mouse as it is cheaper than many others, but perhaps it’s also one less wire to break, as my headset wire is starting to go after a few years now too
All 3 mice are about the same price for me
Basilsk v2 personally
why dont u just buy all 3 and return the ones you dont like. amazon has flexible return policy
thats what i do when i cant decide between things
Just rather avoid the hassle haha
And it’s not like I’m going to open them all and actually use them
I’m just not sure if wireless mice are worth it over wired, and then if they are/are not or whatever, which razer mouse in general is the best choice to go for
I have small hands too which is also why I like the mamba, for example, but really dislike the deathadder
@wintry fern what do you use?
the basilsk ultimate
for small hands do the viper mini or the mini razer mice, no i have not as i have large hands
Ahh
Nah I’d prefer ergo over ambi
Without a doubt
If the basilisk is quite big then I’ll just go for mamba elite/wireless, whichever is recommended more
ah
I feel like the mamba is more flexisble
in terms of how you can grip
So between mamba elite and basilisk v2?
Which would you opt for
good beginner keyboard to get from razer?
There's not really a beginner keyboard really up to your budget
@glossy parrot prefer mamba
Ok
I’m mainly choosing between mamba wireless 2018, elite, and basilisk v2
ok $100 range
What do you think?
Small hands, ergo preferred, mamba wireless 2018, elite, and basilisk v2, or something else similar value?
oh i was talking about a good keyboard under $100. would be my first one to have also
Small hands, ergo preferred, mamba wireless 2018, elite, and basilisk v2, or something else similar value?
@bitter copper
If I narrow it down to the mamba
Which mamba?
Personally I'd recommend the Naga Trinity
@bitter copper I've tried the basilisk and had the mamba wireless
theyre both for big hands
basilisk is more versatile
while if you want to have the mamba you really know what you want
because its unlike any other mouse
Is mamba wireless bigger than normal mamba? I think i've finally settled on the mamba elite
not sure i think they are the same size
the basilisk is quite hard to jitter cilck
if thats ur thing
I had a TE a year or two ago and loved it until it broke lmao
it certainly is a good mouse
ahh
i had the deathadder v2 rn
thats good
it has more buttons, more programbility and stuff
fits a lot of games
only 1 more button?
yeah but you know what i mean
you really need to have a specific taste for the mamba
and if thats ur thing go ahead
And mamba allows way more flexibility in grip, basilisk forces your thumb to rest on the side?
i meant in game
i thought
in my opinion the basilisk fits more games
fair enough
which headests are you looking at?
Fair enough, looking at pro wireless, my Kraken V2 needs a break after 4 years
and I'm fed up of wires
I got them 4 years ago and the wire and earcups are broken, so looking for a nice upgrade now
i just got krakens because i thought they looked cool lol
haha me too at the time
and i was super razer fanboy
i still like razer, but more open to other options too
ill just get as much as i can get out of it and maybe get a blackshark or cloud alphas
same
nice nice
I mean i have a razer keyboard and mousemat lmaoo
so only the headset
that won't be razer
Uhh goliathus mini chroma i think it's called?
nice
ive always wanted to try the ornata
i didnt really want mechanical
it's fine, i would say unreliable at times, but not enough to be annoying
because of the membrane key detection
yeah dude if you like it then it's your opinion i hate when people judge others for have membranes lol
but it's fine, cost me £50 and does the job
ill game on a membrane keyboards don't really impact game performance tbh
i just like the feeling
and yeah i didnt get mechanical because not so keen plus didnt wanna spend a lot
mehcanicals are not always the best choice if you live in like a dorm or something bc a lot of them are loud
I was looking at all the razer mice options since my lancehead TE has started to wear so. I can't seem to find any ambidextrous mice that weigh as much as the lancehead TE. Razer doesnt seem to be making the lancehead TEs anymore so i wanted to know if it would be better to switch to a more conventional razer mouse like the mamba or the basilisk or just find an old stock lancehead TE. What would you recommend?
i'm about to get a mamba elite
isnt there like a lancehead wireles
and also does your preference lead towards heavier or lighter mice @mint jasper
oh
lemme check
mambas, basilisks, deathadder chromas are not bad choices
for heavier weights
i have considered those but they arent ambi, not that i am left handed, its just that i feel i might do better with ambi since im used to used
they have laser sensor and plus they're out of production aswell lol
u right
i got an atheris that i use for school
but its tiny
and it weighs a fair amount with batteries
not sure
hey, since this channel seems to be active, does anyone here know if the razer mouse bungee v2 works with the glorious model o?
i went to my local best buy with my friends and tried out all the mice they had on display
@gaunt mesa yes
well during the pandemic they dont really have that option here 😦
how do u know? i just want to be 100% cuz i cant return it if i open it
oh
the bungee is way more accomidating than you think
itll be a bit snug tho
@mint jasper that sucks which state do you live in
the middle east lol
okay
just a little hard to put it in the bungee
some people really hate having the extra tension added by the bungie
yeah thats why you attach the cable to the bungee whe you put the mouse to the far corner of your mousepad
i think
hmm
how do i clean razer cynosa chroma
take out the keycaps and dump the rest of it into warm sopay water lol
@worthy arch i dont think u can take keycaps off cynosa
You can but you shouldn't as it will most likely mess up the keyboard. As I said I'm #351097273226362880 use a small brush it can of air
hi
Relative to the deathadder how large is the lancehead?
@terse lark I have had an ornata for years. I’ve taken off my caps loads and no issues
It should be fine
Does anyone here have a Razer Nari Ultimate? I want to know the how much mic quality changes depending on whether it is connected wirelessly or via aux.
Does anyone have the razer firefly v2 and if so, where di you find it?
seems like everyone has it in stock btw
Just throwing a recommendation for anyone looking for a mouse pad, for the longgest time I used a cheap amazon 2xl mouse pad under my Goliathus Chroma Extended, last week I decided to try a new mouse pad, let me say this the Gigantus v2 is amazing, the extra padding from the foam gives you a nice height, and with the widith of the board you can fit two keyboards and all your gear on it while leaving you with plenty of room to flick your mouse around.
@wintry fern is there any retail store that sells these things
target, bestbuy
Bestbuy doesn’t sell it for me ☹️
Why can't ya just order it online?
Anyone here any experience with the razer viper ultimate? Is it good? I seem to find good & bad reviews equally
that's for a lot of razer products
^
bye guys
If only the Viper Ultimate was USB-C and had a chroma scroll wheel :(
I feel like a majority of wireless mice still use micro b. As a majority of people buy it for using wireless not wired mode.
plus, micro usb is cheaper to manufacture, as there are already many supply chains that use it
Correct, but since USB c is slowly becoming the standard I could see the next version having usb c
yeah, lots of manufacturers are switching now
Frankly is a better connection.
plus, you can plug it in whichever way you want!
and honestly this is getting a little offtopic lol
Exactly. And it's nice if your an Android user I can use the same charger for my mouse and phone. But yeah I agree lol
I feel like a majority of wireless mice still use micro b.
This is why introducing a USB-C mouse would be like the perfect move right now, steal the market from other manufacturers lol
But yeah sorry for beginning this slightly off-topic thing lol
Is the razer wrist rest pro better than the wrist rest that comes included with the Blackwidow Elite, or is it the same wrist rest (pro)
isn't the pro the cooling one
hi , i need some help , i have a blackwidow elite and the W key doesnt work sometimes
@worthy arch i bought the keyboard
i first noticed it and thought it was me missclicking things but its not me its the keyboard
about 3 months

like 2 years
@dusk mist bw elite?
oh damn 2 years
@worthy arch nah i got huntsman te
i though everything was 1 year
oh sick
i was going to go for apex pro
the huntsmen te is nice
but i forgot steelseries are just a bunch of bastards
stabilisers better on the te and they say pressing the keys is just nicer
plus i would prefer having doubleshot pbt than abs because my keyboard is starting to show some wear and tear
Lubed*
im not going to lube it
Tru
i need that noise
yes
but the bebe isnt always around yk, its the family house the bebe is at and i live alone, 1 hr away from em
btw can you remove the switches from the te
i might lube it
what swicthes do u have
You need to de solder to take out sowtche so beleive In the te
how is everyone
@alpine carbon although I don't have the mouse from what I've seen on reviews it's a budget offering
what are you looking to get
and what do you have rn
wait wtf how
did you try running minecraft shaders
g502 is pretty good
whats wrong with it
oh
nice
yeah i think the viper mini is like one of the cheapest mice razer is offering
@wintry fern do you work at razer
what is ur current gear
ye
like keyboard mouse, headest, etc
i like logitech
their designs are pretty good
is it mechanical
tahts pretty good
what makes you think its bad
oh
oh
:/ yeah idk
No I do not I just stream and I've personally bought alot of Razer gear. I like the company, the products, and what the company stands for.
I've owned cheap keyboards and mice,. I've owned the Logitech g502. And I just like how the Razer gear feels,. I know it's not the best by no means. But it performs well for me
lol the only reason why i like razer is because my friend had a deathadder chroma from way back and its the only brand tha tstuck with me
has anyone here tried any corsair headsets
Personally if you specifically want a " gaming headset " go with HyperX they make solid great sounding headsets.
@wintry fern yeah ive heard some good things about the cloud alphas i just like the design of the corsair virtuoso and im thinking ab getting one for my birthday idk
might be a lot to ask for
Razer has some damn fine mices
logitech makes soem good mice too
Yeah
But my mouse heart goes to Razer
But you can't go wrong with both brands
Just make sure you enjoy holding and using your mice
The only reason I like my krakens over the hyper x clouds are for comfort and glass friendly. One thing Razer needs to work on is audio . There headsets for the price aren't up to par. Yes with the blackshark they are moving the right way
Yeah, until the blackshark v2 came out, I totally stay away from Razer audio products
I felt their hammerhead was overpriced for it's range and typically they do not last very long.
I won't comment on their Nari or Kraken line, since I know there are strong support for them.
Yeah the earbuds
Is crap
I do not have the wireless version if thats what you asking
oh
hey im looking at the razer headset hub thing does anyone know if it is any good?
the headset stand is [retty ballin
i was looking at the corsair st100 but i like the razer one better because it has more usb ports
its awesome i have the mercury one. its all plastic but it has nice rgb on the bottom and 3 usb port
what are the usb hubs like cause that why im looking at it
and of course, rgb that why anyone buys a razer product
I mean it works well. Using it right now to use my Xbox controller wired forza. Personally it's my last open hub. On my laptop I have 3 Huns including this one. A USB c one and an aker 4 port USB 3.0 one
ok cause my current laptop has run out of usb ports and i just want to free some up
so u reckon its worth it?
Can you choose between THX and 7.1 on nari ultimate and also do any work on ps4 in wired or wireless mode?
Viper vs basilisk?
Was gonna get mamba but both ultimate editions are on offer on amazon , especially viper
I have small hands and prefer ergo but apparently the viper is really good for small hands
Or, mamba elite vs viper?
I like the viper’s look but the physical design and not being ergo, plus the smaller buttons are what’s putting me off
This is the viper ultimate by the way
If not I’ll get the mamba elite
I registerd my Cynosa v2 on the razer website, all good; but i also brought the razer wrist rest pro and it appears that there is no serial number/product number at the bottom of it, and i tucked its box somewhere i am too lazy to get now. Do you need to even register the wrist rest or...
Hi! I just saw Razer launched a new white mouse, the Razer Pro Click, and I was thinking of getting one and swapping out my Lancehead Tournament Mercury edition. I know it’s designed for work, but what are your thoughts of using it as a gaming mouse? I do not play FPS games at a high lvl, I do however play mmos (WoW) at a somewhat high lvl.
Good question, Ron. I'd imagine as it's designed for longer periods of use then probably!

@mighty marsh Nvm no need to register the wrist rest and its 6 months warranty
At me with any questions !
anyone know what the warranty period with the razer raptor is ?
@idle raptor according to google it says 3 years. but i'd check razers warranty information on thier site first to confirm
i imagine its hopefully 2 years atleast
https://www.razer.com/warranty according to razer its 1 year
@bitter copper what games are you looking to play
how do I get Razer Kraken X headset to work? I plugged into an external speaker but I can't hear anything or speak
So the side buttons on my razer deathadder Elite 2013 are kinda slick now cause I use em alot anyone have a fix ?
where do I connect the splitter cable for my kraken x on the motherboard i/o? Another device is current using the line out port. I don't want to connect in the front panel.
@worthy arch mainly fps, I’m into cs at the moment, but would play other games like siege and cod. I heard the viper is good for competitive fps?
Yep
Awesome
@alpine carbon I'd say the viper mini or the deathadder essential
i got the deathadder essential off Amazon for $30
If you live in the UK the price of the Viper Mini is £30 from currys pc world
And the wireless Basilisk x is £40
Uhhh
Cool i guess to know
Was looking at the Basilisk X but i just thought I'd get the razer naga trinity
deathadder mini is also pretty good I heard
@worthy arch I am excited to get the mouse just concerned cause ive only ever used ergo and it's ambi
you got anything to say in response to that lol?
i mean ive heard the curves make it more comfortable but still just not sure
If it really is no good I’ll return and get a basilisk ultimate or mamba elite lol
@bitter copper no i've hever used the deathadder mini but i have the deathadder v2
@worthy arch viper
Cool i guess to know
@arctic gale check out the basilsk v2
bye
Just a general thought if you are looking for recommendations on peripherals. Instead of asking what's the best (mouse or keyboard) maybe give more detail.
I'm looking to spend no more then $75 for a new mouse here are the type of games I play, preference of wired or wireless. Just so we can help get you the best recommendations in the quickest amount of time
