@frank sable if you want a headset stand that's also a hub, I have the Razer one which is nice. It has four USB ports. But if you just want a USB hub then I reccomend the anker 4 port USB hub

the only issue youl run into with using custom keycaps or like the hyperX pudding keycaps are the non standard bottom row. so the fn and menu keys aren't standard. but if you went with a company like Tai-Hao keycaps, directly on there website they sell blank keycaps that you can put into thier places. if you message them on instagram they will be able to help you

@alpine carbon I have owned both the Razer Kraken Pro and the X edition, Both very high quality microphones but My Kraken Pro sadly died on me because of my own fault, not the qualities fault. The X I currently have is not as loud and not as high quality microphone ways in my opinion. But the Krakens are a good headset possibly my favourite i've ever owned from a company

That all depends on you my man. I personally like the clickyness of a Razer green or opto purple. But the reds are like speed switches.

With linear I'm pretty sure they act similar to membrane keyboards, Meaning you must push the keys all the way down for it to be actuated, With a tactile switch however, you push it semi half down for the key to be activated and used. On tactile keyboards you can take your finger straight off and move onto the next key quickly.

Used google for this answer, it's all what you'd prefer

Not too bad, since I expected it'd be just the normal opticals, but it's annoying that so much potential is being wasted by keeping that switch on one item instead of integrating it with their Huntsman lineup.

Oh, and it wouldn't hurt to let all Huntsman models to support both switches (mainly the normal and TE, as the former is only clicky and the latter is only linear).

@vague bough I got the huntsman mini, so far. I love it but IL be honest I keep my black widow above it for the num pad. The purples feel nice for sure. I do wish I got the reds though just to be different but I like the clicky switches and the purples have. 5 mm of more travel

Honestly, If you do the kraken spend a little more for the kraken TE . the sound card will give you better audio. for logi unless you go with gpro there cheaper headsets are trash. The audio on hyperx is solid for gaming but they aren't as comfy as the krakens.

Hey, I got a question. I just got a new Huntsman TE and I replaced the keycaps for the PBT upgrades from Razer. For some reason, the spacebar is now “broken” in the sense of if I click on it, it just stays down. Does anyone have a solution?

And the only way it won’t do that is if I don’t put it into the stablizers and it just hangs from the switch itself

Any windows 10 laptop can do that feature so it's not a special feature. Personally for the last year or so I've been using a Lenovo Legion y740, upgraded from 16 to 32gbs of ram, rtx 2060 , and i7 9750h. i've been happy with it minus some issues that they resolved in January. Personally i've had way better luck with hp omen laptops . find hp's customer service is miles better then lenovo. but if you want to stay in the razer ecosystem then i'd defently say go with blade. what is your budget ?

but just so you know the 13 at least on razers website only goes up to a 1650 ti. so personally if you were planning to do any gaming as well as note taking i'd say 15.6 you can game more comfterably on. plus the 15 inch offers more screen choices and over all better performance with the better i7 and more powerful gpu. but with any gaming laptop you can truthfully only expect a couple hours of useage. I dont remember which youtuber did a review but they compared gaming laptop battery lifes

Change ANY key with hypershift?
Can I change the default ESC to ~ instead of fn + ESC = ~ ?

I'm asking this because I red somewhere that you could not assign hypershift to keys with functions

Which sounds incredibly dumb for me

Since you already cannot customize a key to be a specific fn key

Yeah I love it. It's my favorite Razer keyboard had it for a few years now originally had the blackwidow not sure which one. I've tried many mech keyboard in stores etc but honestly haven't felt one that felt like the ornata does.

Only complaint I had with it was I would sometimes stop sprinting while gaming as I found I didn't hold shift down hard enough since I came from a black widow which was a lot lighter of a press

Always had razer peripherals except for the headset. When I broke my second turtle beach headset since they're great sound but crappy plastic, i switched to the nari ultimate, and boy does this thing sound like crap...

it tries way to hard to be noise cancelling which makes it incredibly terrible sounding while speaking to teammates while wearing it. Also my friends tell me that my mic sounds like shit now ever since I switched.

I would describe most of Razer's Deathadder series mouse are really well built and durable, I have friends who use the early generations of Deathadders till today

For palm grid users, the Deathadders are one of the most comfortable mouse out that.

I personally own the Elite version, I sometimes forget I'm holding a mouse, that's how comfortable the mouse is for me. But mouse are one of those peripherals you have to try and hold in your palm. As I told by a V2 user, the mouse felt a little straighter in design.

@unreal pumice if you've ever used the Logitech g502. The basilsk ultimate is as close to the g502 as you can get. Infact I think the basilsk is way more comfy. I'd definitely reccomend the basilsk

But also the one down side to the black shark over the kraken. Let's say you go with the white krakens, the cable will match the headset and the white asthetic. Where the black sharks are a non removable green cable

On the huntsman mini they have the improved on the linear red switches. By putting dqmpners in the switches to quiet them, also pre lube the switches from factory now

I'm not sure about that, maybe they will use it on the huntsman TKL ..but I can't see them putting the opto switches on the black widow .maybe they will use the updated mechanical switches which are on the black widow elite already. Which have sidewalls on the switches to provide better stability

this wasnt the case before on the huntsman elite which had both variants

The Blackshark v2 are decent for listening to music, the sound is very neutral and nothing is over emphasis. Which is somewhat of a common trait especially for headphones/headsets at this price point. Which is good enough for causal music listeners.

Do not expect it to transform your music listening experience, if you want audiophile quality experience, you have to look somewhere else.

Grado is a great open headphone brand, is hard to go wrong with them. But you might turn off by the design of it.

The specific model for basilisk I recommend is the hyperspeed x mouse.

The bluetooth to dongle switch makes a great companion for travel and users with laptop and desktop switchup.

Is often on sale too, so very worth at it's price point.
