My Basilisk V2 has some, and my Logitech g502 Proteus also
Like, naturally when I right click I sort of apply down-right pressure to the click. Not enough to be damaging but without a little movement could stress the actuator.
@visual ingot Thanks - but I dont think my naga 2014 had that 😮
@blissful egret It could be that they noticed stress on older mice due to being so rigid, and made a design change.
Older doesn't necessarily mean it's better. 🙂
But, if it bothers you, you might want to return it. You want to be 100% satisfied when spending your money!
basilisk ultimate comes with a charging dock. @sacred beacon
but you said it didn't
so which is it
does it or not?
because im buying the ultimate one
where didi I say that
if your talking about the mouse pad bundle
There is no dock in that bundle
Or else it would say + dock
there are three options Mouse mouse + dock and mouse + Mouse pad
I originally said thought the same but unfortunately it is not the case
It would not make sense to add a $50 item and for the price to go down 20 dollars
Here is a diagram to help illustrate what you get in each bundle
I would go with the dock one I don't have any idea how to get one separately
then just buy the firefly separate
If you really want the 15 saved dollars with the mouse pad bundle you could buy that but it would take an extra few seconds to charge your mouse very time you get up to use the toilet, but with dock dock you just set it down and it charges
I wish they implemented hyperflux tech into this or something
would be great
@errant sandal?
im here
which are you getting?
I wish Razer made a wireless viper mini
i saw a listing on eBay for a deathadder elite for $30 but the seller had overall great reviews and 154 sold of the mouse. The condition was new. Should i buy it?
@remote axle post only in one channel
k
someone with a deathadder v2 is it normal that synapse makes your sensor stutter?
a headset is a peripheral right
yes
oops
i have this razer nari ultimate i dont think i can use...
got it from my friend, i dont think it has bluetooth pairing
unless you plug in the usb dongle.. but the one it came with says man'o'war when i plug it in
so is this thing completely unusable besides with a 3.5mm cable now
i really dont know man
@eager lava Sounds like your friend gave you the wrong wireless dongle with your headset. Maybe ask him about it?
Yeah he said he prob has the other one... but I’m surprised you really can’t put the headset in Bluetooth pairing mode??
I mean wtf
It has Bluetooth
@eager lava "How do I connect the Razer Nari Ultimate to my computer?
You can either connect the Razer Nari Ultimate via the 3.5mm combo cable or wirelessly via the USB wireless transceiver."
It doesn't have bluetooth.
@eager lava unfortunately @visual ingot is right on this one. The Nari Ultimate does not have Bluetooth (hence you can't use it with your phone for example). Everything goes through the 2.4GHz dongle. As they're factory bound to the headset, it means that only that single dongle will work with that single Nari. Would be nice if there was a way to rebind a different dongle to it though
Ohh okay thank you! Was wondering lol
Had to return my nari's I got yesterday. The mic was defective :/
yikes
@remote axle go ahead if you want, but notably on amazon theres a listing for the deathadder elite 25$CAD and then shipping prices
- I ordered off ebay for 30 CAD already
- Amazon refuses to ship to my city rn bc of the pandemic
- I got free shipping so i think i might have actually saved some money
however amazon does ship faster but its too late
ah thats a good choice then because amazon screwed me with shipping prices
yeah, just the shipping time is an actual gamble
the delivery range is from 13 days up to 57
i cant way to get macros
I love how viper mini straight up costs 53± euros if I buy from any local stores here but on AliExpress I can get it for standard price that is 34eur.
i wouldnt trust aliexpress, but it should be 40 euro
also viper mini with focus+ pleaseeee
i want that low lift off distance
whats a cheap and most importantly silent razer keyboard u would recommend?
Ornata is very quiet and great price
Guys
i reallly need help with my deathadder v2
i really need to know if the mouse is broken or the software is broken before my return time expires
I have installed and uninstalled Synapse multiple times, but the sensor problem is still there. So it’s a trade at this point: Get synapse i have low liftoff and bad sensor or dont use synapse i have a good sensor and high liftoff.... I Really want to use synapse cause i like the features and its look..
If i have synapse 3 installed, the sensor stutters when i strafe left or right
But i can change the liftoff range low
However the onboard memory doesn’t get the liftoff range or colours.... so at this point what should i do?
Please help
i need to mention the fact that i have the goliathus control mat and i checked it in synapse 3 when i did my test
Should i buy the razer kraken x with usb or the normal kraken x??
@slate mortar the normal kraken x has multiple supports, like you could easily connect it to your phone(if your phone has a headphone Jack) but I prefer the normal because you don't have to search for a dongle to connect it to phones or other devices. If you have a console too the usb version won't work. Get the normal one.
For deathadder v2?
Aha
probably because my mat is a bit old
That's cool
dude its a lifesaver
I've never seen a problem like that
now i can headshot again
idk man on the synapse 2 deathadder chroma
the manual tracking was working percectly
but synapse 3 is in beta so i understand
I think the newer version bring more stuff and at the same time it removes older stuff.
Then do you play on a 144hz monitor?
So what do you play on
i am playing on a 60 hz laptop monitor
Aha
I have the same feeling too
I play on 60hz monitor
and i was like: dude something is wrong here
cause i did test with the other deathadder
Which one to choose: alienware 240hz 1080p monitor or msi 144hz 1440p monitor
depends
on what do you want
because if your pc cant run 240 fps constantly in the games
its kinda useless
My pc can run cs:go on 350 fps
yet you have a 60hz
Yup
Which one to choose: alienware 240hz 1080p monitor or msi 144hz 1440p monitor
@shut zenith ı recommend 240 if you can get 240 fps
can you send links of them
These are the two
I wanted to get an razer monitor but I didn't find one in my country
ı reccommend to buy msı because :
1-it has bigger screen
2-it is WQHD
3-its cheaper
4-now you can use freesync with nvidia graphic cards so it is not an advantage
5-its curved
6- it has rgb
7-its slimmer
@shut zenith
Amazon.com: MSI WQHD 2K Non-Glare with Narrow Bezel 144Hz 1ms Height Adjustment AMD FreeSync HDMI/DP/USB 2560 x 1440 27” Gaming Monitor (Optix MAG271CQR), Black: Computers & Accessories
The whole freesync with Nvidia cards is a little bit of a hit and miss. Sure Nvidia have relented, but alot of monitors that have it enabled just dont make any difference, and in some cases when the FPS went below 30 it started to stutter with it enabled. So I wouldnt use this as a plus. I would still go for the MSI though, and tbh, there are many cheaper monitors out there better that the MSi at that price point
You know, I think msi is better too
But alienware has rgb too, but that's just one thing.
Is there any chance we could get a quartz pink tartarus pro? (we already have mercury white)
@foggy dirge picture from aliexpress reviews. Why tho? all the reviews are positive and price is what I would expect.
ehh
id rather just go with authorized resellers, like their websites, amazon, newegg, etc
or any local stores if you have access to those
@foggy dirge picture from aliexpress reviews. Why tho? all the reviews are positive and price is what I would expect.
@round abyss probably fake. I'd be careful on sites like Ali Express and wish
probably because they dont make it anymore
but it is a really cool mouse especially since its customisable
i havent even heard of them until i saw your picture
they're pretty hidden on the razer website
Older model IIRC
I like the new basilisk ultimate
great mouse
9.5/10
nothing is ever perfect
but the Viper and basilisk come close
i was going to get the basilisk ultimate
my deathadder elite broke after 3 years 😔
my viper broke in 1 min
It's on now, folks. 😈
noice @visual ingot
Attracts dust like a mofo but it's sexy AF
@round cargo Thanks! I was stoked to get one on clearance from Amazon.
wow
WOW
I don't much care about the game it's branded with, but $109.99 for a Panthera is a steal. At least I like both Marvel and Capcom characters well enough to be fine with it lol
ok
I really like the comfort of the nari, and would rather have a wired headphone. So , I Just got a couple of questions:
Is it just me or using the 3.5mm jack gives a better sound?
And will there be any problems if I use it wirelessly and plugin it in via USB at the same time? (so I can avoid charging)
I believe it automatically turns off when plugged in via USB.
bruh it comes with a aux that charges it
yeah. but I think it does use the battery still for the haptics right?
I think it will stay fully powered
The aux port doesn't charge it.
And yes, haptic feedback requires battery still. The aux port just makes the headset function like a Kraken Pro V2
The only way to charge the headset is to plug in the USB cable to the headset.
Will I also not be able to calibrate on synapse if plugged in via jack?
@hard raft exactly, no USB connection means no data.
Alright. Thank you all. Wish I can wire it via usb while using it. that would be perfect.
I’m sorry that I’m being rude but of course it needs battery to do haptic feedback any movement especially as large as the haptics require electricity to function
Also you can charge it wile using it
Oh it does work still while charging? Even in wireless mode? Interesting.
Maybe I confused it with my Bluetooth headphones from JBL. When you plug those in to charge they automatically turn off.
Anyone know if the Goliathus Extended, Base Station and Laptop Stand are compatible to synapse 2.0? Im thinking about buying these to complete my setup but I still have a Man o War wireless headset and the RGB Mamba Wireless (With Dock) and these two arent synapse 3 compatible. Or maybe the will get compatible in the future?
Or is it possible to sync synapse 3 with synapse 2? xD
no, i dont think you can
@hearty glacier Only Synapse 3 compatible.
So I cant sync synapse 2 and synapse 3 devices?
And will Razer add older devices to synapse 3? I have the Mamba with charging dock from I think 2015 and in my opinion its still the best looking mouse with this dock...
Okay Razer Mamba hyperflux is lit too but very expensive xD
They added some older devices to Synapse 3, but I don't think they're adding anymore unfortunately 😦
And newer devices wont work with synapse 2?
Nope
wtf
Synapse 2.0 is legacy software
It's simply there to allow people to manage their old devices
But its stupad that you cant really use old devices with new
It is what it is
It sucks xD
No
tech companies do it a lot. Unless you're arguing that like 90% of tech companies are scams
Synapse 3 has been the only supported software for new Razer devices for a few years now, I want to say as far back at 2017
Does it suck? Yes. Is it a scam? No.
It feels bad. If I think about upgrading from my Mamba RGB 2015 to the new wireless it feels like a 80€ step backwards
I use a Naga Trinity myself and have always used Naga mice from Razer so can't speak for the Mambas
You can run Synapse 2 and 3 at the same time, and if you get creative you could make them look good together still.
I talk about the RGB charging dock and the light strips
Chorazin is right about that too. It's not an either-or
It's not as easy as clicking a button and everything works, but you could totally make it happen.
Before I stopped using my Seiren Pro I had both installed
@visual ingot Yes I thought about trying this
Unfortunately running both or upgrading your old Mamba to a new Synapse 3 Mamba is your only option
I bought the Razer Man O War wireless used last week because I thought its a great deal for 50€. A wireless Razer headset with RGB chroma. I wanted to increase my setup with a Goliathus extended chroma instead of my old Vespula and sync it all up 😦
ah yeah, I believe the only Synapse 3 wireless headset is the Nari
I thought the man o war could be a nice used alternative 😦
It's a nice little headset from what I've heard, but yeah, S2 only
I mean, let me be fhe first to tell you the Goliathus extended chroma isn't exactly gonna be hard to sync up, it's the most basic RGB ever
Im still happy with the lighting and the sound of the Man o War but now im a bit upset xD
It's one color at a time, just set them both to a color and you're done
I propably use this S2 and S3 dual method. Because I mostly use a static lighting for my Ornata Chroma xD
Oh then you're good
And I never used anything else that the wave effect for my maba wireless
So I think ill be fine
I use all S3 stuff
Blackwidow Chroma V2, Tartarus V2, Naga Trinity, Firefly, Base Station Chroma, Nommo Chroma, and Nari Ultimate
Yeah, all S3 stuff here too
(except for stuff like the Wolverine Ultimate and Panthera that don't use Synapse)
I thought it would be a good idea to buy some older high end devices used instead of new low end haha
That's a good plan!
No its not
Because of S3 support xD
But I think for me its fine. When I game I use only static lightning effects because otherwise I cant concentrate on the game xD. So it should be easy to try S2 and S3 dual solution
yeah, that'll be easy enough for you
I use integrations like Chromatics which require S3
I never heard about a support stop for S2. I thought it is only like an experimental program and S2 is still the main xD
And I personal prefer the look of S2 haha
They've had it marked as legacy on their site for a couple of years now
Maybe I should just go for the old firefly instead of the goliathus extended and stay with S2 only
The old Firefly is what I have... S3 only
But its on the S2 compatible list
anyone know what keycaps are compatible with the huntsman elite?
Can you show me the S2 compatibility list?
@fair snow that doesn't list the compatible devices
But my link
oops
Yeah, I've seen yours Iulius
Strange, it might work then
But the Firefly isn't listed as Synapse 3 compatible
I think the S2 list isnt complete
And well... look at this
There is only one Mamba listed
Amazon needs to hurry the F up with my Deathadder V2
Amazon's website tracking is so bad..
At least for their own packages.
USPS Packages and UPS Packages are a lot better tracked compared to Amazon Packages.
Where are you from?
I'm in the greater houston area.
In Germany they are still very fast
I prefer DPD myself
Like, come on.
Didn't even tell me WHERE the carrier facility is.
Humble is like, an hour away from me.
I could have driven to the Amazon facility, gotten my product, and driven back home faster than whatever Amazon Delivery Driver is taking his sweetass time to deliver packages could do.
Sure, he's got a billion and a half packages to deliver.
But still.
Maybe you can use the tracking number on UPS tracking site for more detailed information?
lol okay
In the US and UK at least, Amazon Logistics is its own delivery service
Separate from DPS, UPS, Royal Mail, etc
@fervent hedge Really? Amazon usually has great tracking.
DPD for me Skip
Even now.
1 hour delivery slots as standard, text, app, and web tracking of your parcel, signed for by default, etc
Amazons own shippings are pretty decent in my region xD This means the items are on stock in the local amazon centre for me haha
Just don't ship shit through FedEX and we are A-OK in my book.
FedEX can suck my unit.
DHL
They have services across most of EU, including GB
UPS Sucks
You are crazy
UPS is decent in the UK
UPS is amazing in the US
not for me
UPS is in Germany too but its slow and expensive
Wtf
I wasn't spamming
The heirarchy of shipping companies is UPS > USPS > Amazon >>>> FedEX
you had too many > one after another which it treats as spam
FSR UPS just sucks for me
When did you orderd your mouse?
Yesterday and got Free Prime 1 Day Shipping
A switch of my deathadder 2013 died after about 4 or 5 years , but its easy to solder a new in. Its a very durable mouse
Late to the conversation - but Canada Post kinda sucks when it comes to getting stuff on time as well haha. They also have one facility that is known for being a "black hole" where items arrive at and don't come out of
My Deathadder V2 came in!
I sold my Mamba Wireless and my Man o War on Ebay because I want full Synapse 3 control😢
The new Mamba without charging dock is 45$ in the US but 78€ in Germany wtf😭
https://www.razer.com/gb-en/gaming-accessories/razer-mechanical-keyboard-enhancement-kit you'll want those, rather than keycaps
What sup everyone
Is the Blackwidow X Chroma any better that the original Blackwidow Chroma?
Okay ill buy a Blackwidow V2 on Ebay for the wrist rest and USB passthrough 😄
Whats the better choice over the Razer Blackwidow Elite and the Razer Huntsman Elite. There is a $40 difference im just not sure which one to go for?
the only difference is that the Huntsman Elite is Opto-mechanical while the balckwidow elite is just mechanical
It's a little bit more than that. The Blackwidow has USB and audio passthrough, whereas the Huntsman Elite (while still requiring 2 USB ports), has underglow lighting on both the keyboard itself and the wrist rest
i prefer the blackwidow elite
the passthroughs are more useful than the rgb wrist rest
but if you like rgb, the huntsman is the king of rgb
but if you like rgb, the huntsman is the king of rgb
@mighty heron that's exactly why I went with the blackwidow a few months ago , to me I'd rather have functionality instead of rgb
do you guys have any suggestions for like a low budget to mid priced keyboard?
id really love to get a razer keyboard but really dont want to spend so much
@distant crater but there are some low budget razer keyboards tho
yeah but im not sure which ones to go for
i was just looking for some advice or direction ykno
American
cad
i meannn id really like to stick to razer
ok
but i would be ok with another brand
the huntsman in razer costs 140
but it is currently out of stock
the ornata chroma
is 140 too
and it has a rest
yeah i was looking into the ornata
doesnt it have the mecha membrane thing they introduced
im not sure about it because ive heard some poeple say it wasnt that good
yeah thats true
i personally think the ornata is the best deal
yeah
do u think its worth the little higher price
ive heard lots of good stuff about the hunstman
ooh yeah
180 to 143
blackwidow is good too
i love me some good rgb
yeah thats why i like razer
same
yeah ur welcome!
🙂
can u turn haptic thingy off with nari ultimate and can u use it wired
@old gate and @distant crater i do agree I think with all things considered the best deal for a full mech board the BW lite is your best option. my recomendation is check local retailers websites like best buy, sometimes you can find great sales on Razer Gear
this one doesn't have rgb, no multifunction keys. But for the price of under 100 CAD its your best bet
anytime, I have the blackwidow elite, Its an absolutey amazing keyboard, one mod i'd highly reccomend are upgrading to the Razer mercury white keycaps, they look amazing on the black keyboard. It gives that panda look
@wintry fern yeah i agree with u man.
@old gate I also think the rgb looks brighter and cleaner with the white keycaps
@wintry fern yeah lol, but my whole setup is black so it does not really match lol
idk like I am going to get the huntsman elite, and maybe I will get the white keycaps for it
That also have the black keycaps
Oh a ton. There's almost like a texture difference slightly more grippy
@alpine carbon I can't recommend any Razer Audio products sadly.
Currently the Microphone quality is sub-par, even on the dedicated mics, and the Headphone Drivers are tuned for Bass, which is bad for gaming, it makes Explosions heard more, but that's not what you want to hear, you want to hear Footsteps and Bullets, which are typically on the Highs and Mids.
https://sites.google.com/view/headphoneadvice/open-back-headphones/category-100?authuser=0 If you want a cheap but good quality pair of headphones, pick something from this list, with Neutral Mids and Emphasised Treble.
Recessed bass if you really don't want to hear the big booms
The "ideal" shooter headphones from this list are the ATH AD500X's
And then, if you don't have a lot of money for a Mic, https://www.amazon.com/Zalman-Zm-Mic1-Sensitivity-Headphone-Microphone/dp/B00029MTMQ/ref=sr_1_1 is a great mic even though it's cheap as balls.
If you have a decent amount of money to spare for a mic, then https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001R747SG/?coliid=I2MTKBG9SF740D&colid=360P79NG2QFST&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it when it's back in stock, plus https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DY1F2CS/?coliid=I648DZ26FCGYR&colid=360P79NG2QFST&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it so you can position it well.
The Zalman Clipon Mic is still really good even for it's dirt cheap price.
As good if not better than the mic capsules in all of Razer's Headsets.
The Samson Q2U mic tends to run about 70 bucks or so.
Not recommended over the Samson Q2U
It's actually 60 bucks at Best Buy.
That's dope.

Same guy, so you can get an apples to apples comparison
And the awesome thing is, if you want to upgrade to an XLR setup, the Samson Q2U will also work with XLR!
Yes
It's so you can position the mic close to your mouth.
It's basically a mic that mostly singers would use, or at least the same style.
Samson > Snowball
All day long
It's much more versatile and is a higher quality.
No problem!
I always love helping people to get the ideal audio setup.
I'm going to soon be replacing my PC37X headset with that mic and stand.
I like my headset, don't get me wrong.
It's got a top notch mic, and great audio quality.
But, the clamping force of the PC37X's is much moree than that of my HD558 headphones.
And in longer gaming sessions it can be a pain.
Personally, I'm using an Audio Technica AT2020 for a mic (but I don't recommend it, dynamic is way better for most people). And for audio monitoring I use the ATH-M50X from Audio Technica
At what point in the last 12 or so posts are we discussing Razer Peripherals ?
Then , on reading the suggestions, best this be discussed in #general-chat or #tech as this channel is for discussions on Razer Peripherals, not the promotion of other companies products
Its all good 😄 We are just trying to keep the channels as tidy as possible. Welcome by the way 😄
Wild, I will say in future, if you see a mod conversing in the channel, best not to say anything about if it's the wrong channel or not in public. While I understand you mean well, it's going to cause confusion for members.
Hey guys, can anyone recommend me a good upgrade from my blackwidow ultimate 2016 keyboard
Hey guys, can anyone recommend me a good upgrade from my blackwidow ultimate 2016 keyboard
@alpine carbon black widdow elite or huntsman Elite
Is it worth it to pay like 20€ more for a Blackwidow Elite than for a Blackwidow Chroma V2 on Ebay?
(Im looking for a Blackwidow with USB passthrough)
you think they'll make a tartarus without a scroll wheel?
@brisk root their older model Tartarus devices don't have the scroll wheel. There's also the Orbweaver that doesn't have the scroll wheel. Personally, I like it
I can see it being useful in FFXIV, to scroll between party members
If you want more buttons without the scroll wheel, then the Orbweaver is the way to go
didnt care for it
yea but itsn the orbweaver being phased out? also i heard the wrist rest falls apart
It might be being phased out. However, given they brought back the scroll wheel, I don't think they'll get rid of it again
bleh
It's not that bad tbh
Unfortunately if you want something without a scroll wheel that isn't a full keyboard, you may have to look outside of Razer, such as the StreamDeck
or the half keyboards I see on Amazon
eh i like the thumb stick and the thumb buttons
deadstock orbweavers
Either ignore the scroll wheel, or go without the thumbstick
Or possibly find an Orbweaver
the scroll wheel is placed in such a way that it's pretty easy to ignore actually
In fact, I often forget I have a scroll wheel 😑
yea for me that key is very often used on my tartarus
ive forgotten, what is it assigned to in synapse? and does it have a center press?
hey guys! I just joined the server not even 1 minute ago. I've been using RAZER for 4 years now, and they are (in my opinion) by far the best gaming peripheral company out there! It's hard for me to find cheap but good products, as I live in Australia and our currency is WHACK! If any of u know cheap and good mice NOT used for MOBA games I would appreciate it!
True
I'm debating on whether or not to return my basilisk ultimate for the viper ultimate
I have decided against it
Why @sacred beacon
I don't like the viper as much as my epic basilisk
The Basilisk is amazing
yes
My biggest initial downside before buying was the thumb rest but I have now decided that it is one of its best advantages
I have never noticed how much thumb drag I normally have
and it just gives your thumb that extra space it may want
At first I missed my sniper button on my g502 but I like the thumb paddle a ton more on the basilsk. It's more comfortable and I find it's more responsive
Some people also complain it is too heavy but I like a bit of heftiness to my mice as it gives them a feel of quality and durability I also don't zip my hand around so this mouse is basically perfect for me.
I was considering the 502 but it looks too finicky and the buttons just look like low quality
and the razer huntsman elite is fantastic
eh I'm not one for wired mice
I was considering the 502 but it looks too finicky and the buttons just look like low quality
@sacred beacon for 1 synapse is way better , and two the basilsk is just way better made
also the rubberized grip is cool
only reason I considered returning this mouse and getting the viper is because of the lower price and how its a "good FPS" mouse but I don't play for the reasons its better and I generally dislike super light mice.
look at these things
eww
they look so wabbly
The one thing I miss is the hyper scroll wheel. That scroller was the best dang fidget toy
why would one want to scroll at the speed of light
For the same reason someone wants 20,000 dpi or a car that goes 267mph. Cause why not
I just want 20,000 DPI cause it means its a more precise sensor
@wintry fern agreed on that hyper scroll wheel, it's so good.
@wintry fern agreed on that hyper scroll wheel, it's so good.
@visual ingot it's so satisfying
@sacred beacon you ever play a game with the sensor on 20k? Even at 12k the tiniest twitch can throw your aim off by feet. Better have nerves of steel 🤣
@sacred beacon you ever play a game with the sensor on 20k? Even at 12k the tiniest twitch can throw you aim off by feet. Better have nerves of steel 🤣
@visual ingot I got bored once, and tried playing warzone with 20,000 dpi. Holy hell, I move the mouse a mm, daggum I dang near go from The US to Australia with a tiny flick
Yuuuuup. I stick with 9k for games and 4k for usual desktop stuff. Anything more than 9k in most games and I'm a mess.
I’m at like 1650 DPI lol
Every few days though I have been in recons it by 50
I might be on 1700 now
Hello everyone
@visual ingot , my buddies complaining about ghub and his g502 only can go to 12000😂😂 dang RAZER FTW
Is it true the razer opus is only available in china ?
Are they gonna release it globally ?
It doesn't look like the Razer Opus even exists
yeah no, don't expect to see them outside of China
It looks like Nose QC 35s and Steel Series Arctis had a baby, but odly I kinda want them
Why does it not look like a taser product
I see no logo
It just doesn’t look like an epic Razer product to me
hi
@sacred beacon It's not supposed to look "like an epic Razer product", they're aiming this at people that grew up with Razer stuff but now want something more grown up looking for travel.
I feel like that's the same sort of thing the Huntsman line is for, top tier gaming performance but it looks very classy and not "gamer"
If i turned off all the RGB on my desktop (and swapped out my Kraken Kitty for something like those Opus') it would fit into a professional setting flawlessly.
ah
Ik this isnt razer support but no one can help me lmao i just got the huntsman te and i wanted to swap out the keycaps with razer pbt keycaps but then i broke the stabilizers also but thankfully the razer pbt keycaps come with opto mechanical stabs so i used them then my space bar started feeling very wobbly and unstable anyone know why or a fix
@icy solstice The Spacebar needs a little more OOMPH when you replace the keycaps than the rest of the keys. Make sure you put the stabilizers in the same spaces they were in on the original space bar, and you're using the right spacebar since the PBT set comes with two.
Just give it a firmer press in the middle and the sides
You're pushing it in too hard then
Or it feels quite heavy
It needs a firm press but not a super hard press
Same here, I have a Huntsman
That might not be on your switch since the TE has Reds
But the stabilizers should be the same
Hm
Are you using the right stabilizers?
Im not sure but i think so
Pull the spacebar off and let's see which ones you're using
Yeah, those are the right ones.
Now put it back on and give it a good press in the middle
okay so are those headphones gonna be release globally or nt?
razer opus
if its a no
why ?
Bruh i had this problem with my blackwidow te and they still didn't fix it
yeah no, don't expect to see them outside of China
@Paladinleeds#6820
@brave sierra No idea why but that's your answer
@icy solstice push down on both sides
left and right
to get it to grab the stabilizer bar
Yup
Not sure if yours has the same stabilization bar but I would assume it’s similar
You don't want to JAM it in all the way to the bottom, but those little teeth need to grab the metal bars
I fixed one side pog
yes
now fix the other and your journey towards the dark side will be complete
Awesome!
Deathadder elite: *scrool wheel is squeaking | one week later: gets fixed by itself | me: cool, razer has self fixing systems too now

sometimes stuff just gets stuck in things
perhaps some stuff was stuck on the wheel
Got my Blackwidow Elite today. Great Keyboard!
👍
Recently got my DeathAdder Essential, so far i love it!
oh......
Would it be worth it to pay the extra $100 for the basilisk ultimate or just get the basilisk v2 for $100 less?”
@quick prawn the basilisk V2 is really good, you don't have to pay that much.
I really love my Basilisk V2. IMO wireless isn't worth the extra $100. Grab a Razer Mouse Bungee too and you're still having a bunch of money
Do I recommend the ultimate? yes. is it worth the price? not really its a very premium mouse
At last count Razer was selling over 25 different gaming mice and there's no worse offender than the Basilisk. Within that lineup alone there are FIVE different models, each with different shapes, sensors, features and specifications. Let's quickly go over them to see which ...
i have regular basilisk
razer
should
make
a hotswappable 60% keyboard that works with synapse and has kailh hotswap sockets, and you can buy barebones and is good build quality
and has good stabs
Honestly, I'd just want a full size Blackwidow or Huntsman with a standard bottom row from Razer
but like the custom keyboard community is growing a lot (i think) and prebuilt companies are going to start loosing sales to people wanting to build custom keybaords
but they should make something similar to gmmk or gk61
I'd say the people after that sort of stuff wouldn't bu Razer even if Razer were to offer it
but razer build quality and synapse enabled
but there are a lot of people i think who want something customizable but dont want to build a custom keyboard from scratch per se
Because of the notion that Razer is overpriced rubbish quality. So why would they trust Razer with a customisable keyboard? They wouldn't. So one from Razer IMO would not sell, at all.
idk maybe ¯_(ツ)_/¯
but hotswap is also becoming more common in prebuilts
like the gmmk for example
Aye but again, people wouldn't trust Razer with it because of the general idea of their build quality (whether true or not)
They'd expect the switch to break the minute they tried to change it
So unless Razer can somehow get 90% of the population to figure out that Razer build quality isn't the tripe people say it is, it wouldn't sell IMO (and yes, Razer build quality is solid but there's a stigma associated with it. Just like how there's a stigma associated with Microsoft that it's enterprise office workstation stuff only)
do people really think razer build quality is that bad?
Yep, and it's more common than you think
hmm
Anyways, I'm gonna go on a live chat with Razer tomorrow and ask if they sell replacement 12 button sideplates for the Naga Trinity
You got a UK link for that? 😂
Gah, didn't know you were in the UK, sorry bruh
I just saw it when I ordered a spare Panthera cable and was like "oh snap!"
But seeing it on US RazerCare is promising
GAH, I can't ship from US Razercare to UK
Well that's lame. 😦
Guess I'm having the conversation tomorrow
Upgraded from Ornata Chroma, Vespula and 2015 Mamba Wireless to New Mamba Wireless, Blackwidow Elite and Goliathus Chroma Extended. I hope it was a good decision. But ill miss the charging dock for my mamba 😦
I'd have gone for a Firefly over a Goliathus myself, but I suppose they don't do an extended version of the Firefly
Its more for aesthetical purposes xD
I only upgraded to get synapse 3 because I wanted this mousepad xD
is it normal for your Razer Deathadder Elite to break after only 2 years of use?
Aha yeah, I have everything on Synapse 3 too
@fair snow What is broken?
the left click
the plastic broke off from clicking
that's like 69k clicks per day
HOW
Rip. But I think the click limit is for the switches
You cant buy the top cover in razercare store 😒
of what?
the top cover of what?
I was wanting to get a replacement MMO side panel for my mouse. But they only deliver to the states
Maybe I can get like a virtual US address which it'll be delivered to, and then they forward it over to me in the UK
old Naga?
2012
dang
i painted that little detachable right side peice orange
ah a classic
Nailed it. Found a service who will mail it on to me
I really wish I could get Razer to make a Huntsman TE with the Optical Purple Switches.
I LOVE TKL layouts
But, the Optical Red switches hurt after prolonged typing.
Gaming? They are great
That just reinforces that I should go for a Tartarus Pro and a Blackwidow Elite (with Orange switches)
Make sure to go for the yellow switches though
Yellow is mechanical linear + silent
But I want the Tactile feel
oh then Orange, sorry
The Optical Purples are Tactile/Clicky
Orange is tactile + silent
Hmm
Green is tactile + clicky
With the BWE I'll be going orange
I like it loud
Should I stick a fork in you?
I guess i'
*I guess I will have to wait.
Not like I wasn't already going to need to wait.
Hmmm
I wonder if I can swap the keycaps between the Blackwidow and Huntsman TE
Booooooo
Razer doesn't use a standard bottom row for the Blackwidow TE
That makes me a sad panda
There is the PBT upgrade set
Yeah...
But that still makes me a sad panda.
I wanted to use my Huntsman TE keys on a Blackwidow TE Chroma V2
they'll basically be the Huntsman TE keys just with the proper bottom row
Yeah.
And technically, you could use the PBT Keycap upgrade set for just the bottom row, and use the HTE for the other keys
Yeah...
But I can't just buy PBT Modifiers from Razer.
If I could, i'd be happier.
But
That's at least nice they give the option to buy the upgrade kit.
yeah, I'm glad they do multiple colours too
Yeah
I honestly MIGHT just say eff it and go for a BW Elite
The dedicated media keys are nice
Honestly, the keyboard looks great
it's the one I want, with the PBT upgrade set (in pink)
And TKL is slowly becoming not enough for me.
Even though I really like TKL
I'm playing some games where I need Numpad keys
What games need numpad
@fervent hedge I have a bw elite , I love it , the media keys are remaped to some websites like weather.gov. and the pbt keycap upgrade is a must. The keys feel so much better and a tad bit grippyier
What games need numpad
@elfin hamlet the numpad is nice for modernwarefare. The 1-9 are my different classes then the numpad are my killstraeaks
Planetside 2 has a lot of Voice Channels (Squad, Fireteam, Platoon, Outfit, and Proximity)
And other keys I would normally use are occupied by more useful stuff.
Hey does the R Λ Z Ξ R Turret work with TITANFALL 2. If u have an answer pls @ me! THX
does anyone why the razor mamba wireless costs 80 bucks in europe but 50 in na?
Majic
@latent minnow I'm pretty sure Titanfall 2 never got mouse and keyboard support on Xbox.
hello, yesterday I ordered 2 mask for the covid19 with my razer silver.can you tell me when I can receive them (google translation)
Omg, my razer pinky headset just came in yesterday! just opened it, and it looks so cute:3
@finite pasture Congrats! Which one did you get?
I am So sadd
huntsman elite or just huntsman
I really want 2 new monitors
huntsman elite or just huntsman
@fair snow do you want more rgb? If not then go with the hunstman. It's $90 on amazon
no
he said huntsman and mamba elite so i was wondering if he was using a huntsman elite or regular huntsman
Oh sorry
@visual ingot I got the Razer kraken chroma with those cute kitty ears :3
@finite pasture I have those in black 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Oh nice
My cats look at me like "how dare you" when I have them on 😅
😂😂
lol
My beat mate has those headphones, but in pink of course
@torpid agate yeah
nooo
yeah lol
some people are already helping me
@uneven stone we're on it dw
Good stuff 😄 Lots of great people here with a wealth of knowledge
Yeah thinking bout changing mine to white
yep
What’s a good Razer keyboard for the budget of £100
can i change the keycaps for the Razer Huntsman?
You sure can!
@cyan swan i would say the huntsman te is better then the huntsman
@odd jolt Kinda Apples and Oranges though. Linear keyboard switches aren't the best for typing, so if you need a keyboard for work/school and gaming, a standard Huntsman does both really well.
The TE will do gaming arguable a little better, but lots worse for a lot of typing.
I will hype the hell out of the Huntsman, I absolute love Razer's Purple Switches.
I like them as well @visual ingot
ha
ha
ha
i got those switch testers
I ordered from ebay lol
dont know why but I just want them
Heyo, need some advice...
I am coming from the Corsair Harpoon RGB Wireless (Which has totally died on me...)
I am stuck between the Razer Lancehead and the Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed...
I am thinking the Lancehead is a better choice simply becuase, similar to the Harpoon, I can just plug it in and keep using it when it dies. Vs having to change bloody AA batteries in the Basilisk.
What say you guys?
get the wired basilisk then lol
Not really what I am looking for. I don't enjoy wired mice.
That was the main selling point of the Harpoon was; I could use it wirelessly and effortlessly, then plug it directly in when needed
The feeling of a cable/wire is massively annoying
I've never had an issue with Li-Po batteries. The harpoon lasted 5+ days on a single charge. Even on more intensive days (Sitting at a PC for about 12-hours.)
What's your budget?
Preferabily Sub $150 USD.
you could get the viper ultimate its basically the lancehead but a newer version and you can set it on the dock or plug it in when needed
Or just get the lancehead
The basilisk is a lot different then these two
if money isn't an issue i would go with the viper if you wanna save go with the lancehead and get some RGB
Hol' up
Does anyone have the Blackwidow V2 (TE), and is there any noticeable key wobble?
I've seen these: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZkN62O_U98
but I'm not too sure if they're isolated incidents...
is the razer atheris suitable for gaming ?
ig it does, it's jsut too dense and small for most hands
it's more as one of those pocket wireless mice you take with your laptop but with a more decent sensor
Looking forward to getting these in and seeing what combo looks best on my Panthera fightstick
Does the Goliathus Extended Chroma supports wave effect?
@hearty glacier it only can do one color at a time
@hearty glacier it does not have a wave preset, however you can probobly create some kind of a wave effect using the chroma studio.
Does anyone know if razer raptor 27 is coming to Europe?
Ok so this has really made me mad. I got an razer nari essnetial from razer after my previous one had a issue. 2 days after receiving my new headset the left ear cup starts rattling. I'm not sure what the problem is.
anyone have any idea which razer product has a 2 foot usb to usb type C cable?
selling my friends equipment and we cant figure out where this cable is from...
Huntsman TE most likely
Huntsman TE most likely
@alpine carbon thanks! got one of those ill check that out
how is the typing experience on the Huntsman TE
i play a lot of different games (rpg/fps/rts/moba)
well you can get clicky purple switches or linear reds
what does the standard one from razer website come with?
wait actually i think it only comes with reds
its red linear non clicky
yes
i also write a lot of blogs
so was wondering about the typing experience
and i dont want to buy 2 different keyboards
so you want a keyboard for gaming and blog writing?
gaming and typing for 1 or 2 hours if i need to
ive been recommended the Huntsman TE if i dont mind the noise
which i dont care about
speed and comfort is priority
budget?
£130
hmm
yea the Huntsman TE is the best, even for typing from all the recommendations
it was that or the Ducky , but ducky not optical
also recommended Wooting but not available
Who told you linear switches are best for typing?
If you're typing a lot you're gonna want something with and activation. With linear your fingers are just bottoming out with every stroke.
not the best for typing , far from. i mean in terms of recommendations for gaming and typing
its personal preference
i wish i had the time to try all these keyboards but i dont
I'd rather game with click and type with linear
i doubt its personal preference, or at least its not all personal preference
there are factors that are known to work best for gaming and typing
"factors" its a keyboard man
im not going to use 2 keyboards man
which one do you do more
i do both equally, i game for 3-4 hours and type 3-4 hours
bruh
just not competitive gaming
can someone help me out?
i have a blackwidow and blackwidow tournament edition.. cable is from neither
its not from a huntsman =\
guys, can someone recommend me a pair of headphones and mic?
razer nari, blue yeti nano
the seirens just aren’t worth it for the high price and low audio quality
I dunno, Nari is great, but I love my seiren
You know it to be true that the siren is just a mega premium mic
I have a blue yeti mic , parked with hyper x clouds.
I plug the hyper x clouds directly into the blue yeti, because of the DAC built into the blue yeti. Also have a Razer Kiyo
for FPS gaming Razer Viper or Razer DeathAdder V2 ?
I know this isn't one of your choices but I'd reccomend the Basilsk V2
well how do you use a mouse
well first I take it out of the box, then plug it into the computer. if I want to use a program i left click
thats how I use a mouse
No like do you move your whole hand or just your wrist
Moving your wrist is also moving your hand
lol ^
I'm pretty sure they mean do you use your arm to aim or just your wrist
hey im having problems with my mic on my razer nari essential headset
should i get the naga trinity or the naga molten
idk
i cant decide so im just trying to find out
wait im not a big razer guy so can i see pics
k
you should get trinity
its newer so probably has better sensors
and it looks better
my friend sent me his trinity so can check it out but i like the shape of the epic
oh ok
Lmaooo
Ahaha
what is the context of the first message tho
like in what situation would that be appropriate to say
whats the best alternative to Hunstman TE
but without the sensitivity
this keyboard is so damn sensitive
it almost starts typing by itself
The regular huntsman and huntsman elite with the purple switches have a 1.5mm actuation distance instead of the 1mm on the TE's red switch. It also takes 45g of force to actuate the keys on the other huntsmans with the purple switch while it takes 40g of force on the TE with red switches.
@wheat ore One of the reasons I suggested the standard Huntsman. The TE just isn't the best for typing due to it being extra sensitive for gaming.
its because pro gamers like that .5 mm les distance to the actuation point
kinda weird
but pro gamers be pro gamers
Yea it's just too much. Im desperately looking for the best of both worlds. Gaming and typing
My priority is comfort and speed
Every review I've seen is biased
I mean..... points again at how he recommended you the regular Huntsman
purple is the same as red except red is quiet just you have to push purple an extra mechanical pencil graphite stick length more lol
Nah, you can rest your fingers on purple without activating them
don't you want that?
I guess. Is that regular huntsman?
yes
@sacred beacon Yes, I mean that they are a lot less sensitive than the Reds
That small space does make a big difference
points again^2 at how we recommended you the regular Huntsman
How does .5 mm make a huge difference
is it like how 2 ms matters or whatever
I tried a few games. I can't rest my fingers without activating
It definitely matters or why would they sell both?
to make money
@wheat ore I type literally all day on my Huntsman, I use it for work. Zero issues with unwanted keystrokes.
People see TE and go oh epic people use this so it makes them good and i want to use it to be like them
that would be why
marketing
Def wasn't my intention. I don't even play competitive in any genre
But there IS a difference between them. Linear keys are very different.
and of course personal preference but I still don't see why it matters
the .5 mm difference
Will checkout the huntsman. Maybe even non razer brands
If you want to read more on the two optical switches (red and purple), you can read here: https://www.razer.com/ca-en/razer-optical-switch
@wheat ore You want a keyboard without linear keys for typing. No matter what brand do not get linear keys
linear is kinda funky tbh
laughs in lubed NK creams
They're great for gaming, but for comfortable all day typing linear is rough.
im trying to find a middle ground
as i play on one screen and type all day on discord
so i dont have one over the other
Return the TE and get a Huntsman
will do
laughs in mecha-membrane
