As far as I know the keycaps are MX compatible though, the bottom row is not standard so i'm not sure where you'd get some of those

And I don't think Razer sells replacement keycaps. If you're within warranty you could try emailing them and they might be able to do something @kind lagoon

on desktop systems that can mean you haven't installed the intel/amd chipset drivers

Check the sensor make sure there's no dust or anything on it

I don't think it's the mousepad but there also shouldn't be anything on the sensor since it's new

Anyone here know how I would hook up my nommo chroma speakers to both my Xbox One and PC? I currently have my PC connected to my Xbox via HDMI and then HDMI from the Xbox to my monitor. Would I need to use the USB for PC sound and then use analog on the Xbox?

You may be able to use USB audio on the Xbox as well not sure if Xbox supports it though

oh wait I see what you mean, yeah you might be able to do that with USB on PC and aux on Xbox. Not sure if you nommos support that but another option is running an aux splitter

You can't really go wrong with a blackwidow or even a blackwidow touranament edition if you don't need the keypad area.

Looks like the only way I can get it to work is plug the USB into the Xbox One and use the aux chord to plug into the controller. Can't figure out a way to use both PC audio and Xbox audio simultaneously unfortunately. @timid pasture

So apparently a Razer Blade with a 2080 Max-Q is allowed to drain 100w in Gaming Mode as long as the GPU is below 67°C. Since that value is really low and easily reached I wonder if Razer is allowed to change the value or if it's fixed by Nvidia?

Huh, turns out that I was wrong. Apparently I had my onboard audio controller automatically setting itself to the default when I was trying to set that up. I just noticed this morning, but if you switch your audio to the graphics card audio(in my case Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB) you get sound from both your Xbox console and PC. However, the sound from the Xbox is a bit degraded. I'm gonna go pick up a DAC today to see if running it through the consoles optical port fixes that.

That might be caused by the HDMI in. Even going through the optical port might also degrade it because it has to decode back through the HDMI in

I was thinking about that with trying the DAC too. I'm heading out to get one now. I'd still like to try just to see if it makes a difference. I may do a different setup though.Like instead of having them all connected together I might change my PC's connection to the monitor to DVI(only other option I have) and use them separately to maintain audio quality.

You could try using an aux splitter to split to the controller and pc so it doesn't go through the xbox though you'll be stuck with aux

Quick update on the Nommo Chroma speakers for anyone that was paying attention. I got it to work finally with no sound degradation. I changed my setup to having my PC and Xbox One connected to the monitor on 2 different ports, PC on DVI and Xbox on HDMI. Then ran the USB audio to PC and the Xbox optical port to the speakers AUX in port with a DAC+LR analog to 3.5mm cable. Works perfectly now...and in my opinion using Dolby Atmos for headphones makes a significant difference. It's a one time buy but you can use it on both the console and PC(as well as utilize the custom EQ if that's your fancy)

I was just wondering how to set the sound volume for the Nari correctly... in general you are supposed to turn Windows sound all the way up and change the actual volume on the headset. That's a pretty solid build though the Ryzen 3600 would be a better choice than the 2700x it's newer and more efficient
You would be losing 2 cores by switching to the 3600 but in apps that uses 8 cores you'll probably see 5% better performance with the 2700x. Though with apps that uses 6 or less you'll see about a 15% increase in speed with the 3600 due to the better single core performance which will help with gaming mainly

Actually I have the Razer phone 1 and within the tech specs it seems the max Bluetooth version I have is 4.2 as well so I don't think it's anything to do with Bluetooth version

If the manufacturer doesn't supply the update then sometimes you can install a custom Rom with a higher Android version though that's not really worth the hassle

They don't even make cases, those are created in partnership with case manufacturers. Razer is traditionally a peripheral company, i.e. keyboards, mice, headsets, etc. that has in more recent years branched out into Laptops and Phones but hasn't considerd other avenues yet probably cause full PC systems in the gaming sector is a very personal choice as to what components should go into them

I recently had the chance to compare the Tartarus Pro and the new Cooler Master Controlpad. My thoughts:

#

Tartarus Pro PROS: User adjustable analog response curve, integration with Synapse 3 (which gives cross-device hyper-shift mode, and a more robust set of RGB features), built-in D-pad. Tartarus Pro CONS: Doesn't work very well. Specifically, the actual range for input seems to be around 1.6mm, as opposed to the 3.6mm promised, with a very early bottoming-out point. This makes analog control more frustrating than useful. In addition, the response seems very unpredictable even if you adjust the response curve. On the other hand, the ControlPad works VERY well with its latest firmware, even without the ability to edit the response curve. Unlike the Tartarus Pro, I was able to really do fine-grained analog control as if WASD really was a gamepad's analog stick.

#

Finally, I think Razer missed a big potential competitive differentiator by not making the d-pad analog- that could have made it a much better version of the old Logitech G13, which I always liked.

#

So, sadly the Tartarus Pro (which I hoped would replace my old Orbweaver) is getting returned and I'll be sticking with the ControlPad. Most of its competitive deficiencies are software based, and are far more likely to be addressed than what seems to be a fundamental design flaw with Razer's implementation.

Yes 1660ti only on base model, don’t be afraid about overheating, base model actually has good cooling it doesn’t use vapor chamber like advanced but hot parts cpu and gpu are covered pretty well, it has similar heat sink with latest stealth 2019 and some are reporting cooler temperature than advanced model actually.

Has anyone been able to solve the USB issues with the Blades? I've got a 2018 advanced, and have already sent it for warranty repair once. They replaced the Motherboard, but that did not completely improve it.
