you grab a component, align them up with the solder pads (usually copper or any sort of well-conducting metal), melt a bit of soldering lead onto the pins (connects the component's metal pins with the solder pads), and the PCB and component should be connected

also you should just watch a video on how soldering works before we actually start fixing this on a higher level

If you dont have an external drive enclosure but have another desktop , in a pinch you can get a long cable and plug it into your other desktop but power on the pc thats not working right just to power the drive and copy it off that way lol

It depends on the brightness of the peripheral, also the conditions and configurations, polling rate etc.
With a normal use, the battery will last 44 hours with haptics and lightning off, up to 11 hours with haptics and lightning on.
