Is this the first time it's happened?
When was the last time you Restarted the Table / Game?
Which Operating System do you use?

#

I'm unable to recreate the problem so it's hard to know what's up...

#

I notice that they updated it so that the Flick Line only shows when you have an object there. I can't pull up a line on the Table for example.

Is it possible the object is accidentally locked, or uninteractable?

According to my friends, it's been happening for a few weeks across different games. I can't figure out for sure when it started as it wasn't until recently that it came to my attention and was an issue. (Currently working on a game that requires fast paced dexterity.)

Re-installed the game via Steam about a week ago as well as clearing my cache in My Games/Tabletop Simulator/Mods. The effect still stood.

I use Windows 10 currently.

#

We've attempted over multiple different objects, the issue has been occurring with any item flicked rather than specific objects.

Who was the table host? Did they check permissions, etc?

unborn estuary
#

When the others had that issue, the table host was always me. All permissions were active.

When I had that issue, it was one of my close friends. I know that one of them had all permissions active, but I'm not sure about the other. I do know that in both cases, I was promoted anyway.

Have you tested it in a Singleplayer or Table you host with just you in it?

If not, testing in singleplayer may be helpful.

unborn estuary
#

That has been tested. The issue does not occur in singleplayer or with only me in it. That runs correctly.

void thistle
#

Ok...

#

When linking with those players, has anyone had any trouble with not loading objects that other players could see?

#

Things like that, connection-likely stuff?

unborn estuary
#

As far as loading problems, not to my knowledge. However, I do have suspicion that it's a connection sort of issue possibly due to the fact that this appears to be a problem isolated with me specifically. I've asked around before and nobody else seems to have this problem.

May I ask what Region you are in? You can DM me for security if you prefer.

#

What region they are in may also be useful, I dunno if they'd rather you DMd or w/e.

unborn estuary
#

By Region, do you mean country? If so, all involved currently are US.

void thistle
#

Hmm...

#

So far I'm pretty stumped...

#

If you get the chance it may be worth testing with the same people, but different hosts.

#

At any rate I have mentioned it to others and will keep thinking about it.

#

I could even test a table with you if you are currently online.

unborn estuary
#

That has been tested. Other players stop having the problem, however, it then transfers to me.

If I am hosting, the players in my lobby will have the issue. If I am not, I have it instead.

I can hop on right now.

Interesting... So it is possible that it can be a Steam P2P issue based on your specific area. I have in the past seen problems cause by a local Steam Server update and things like that, but that is hard to confirm and test, and could only be the case if you were connected to different Steam 'Hotspots', as it were.

#

EG, they are in Phoenix, you are near NY.

#

However, we shouldn't assume that's the case as it's a longshot.

#

If that were the case it would usually fix itself within a week.

#

If you would like to make a table with a password (optional) I will join

#

I don't mind if you leave it open - but I need to know if you have a different Steam Name
