The vtTabDeck is the RAM repository for the cards, if it says this maybe something has happened (like an out of memory error) that has closed it (and therefore nanDECK is not able to use it because it does not exists in RAM).
Have you tried with a fresh download of nanDECK?
Do you have a script that gives you this error? Can you post it?
