Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Official Global Discord Server Rules & Regulations

The MLBB Discord Global Moderation Team has the final say in how the rules are applied. The spirit of the rule is more important than the letter. Upon joining the server, you hereby agree that you have read and understood the rules and regulations and to abide by them.

The Regulation System

When a member breaks a rule, they are viable to receive a warning, a mute/timeout or a ban, depending on the severity. A member's warnings and mutes/timeouts of similar nature will add points towards certain thresholds. When these said thresholds are reached, members will receive additional punishment, such as longer mutes/timeouts or a ban. Members can appeal for their bans using the link that will be provided in the message* from Halpo Police when they get banned.

Members may also be prohibited from posting messages in a particular channel if they break channel specific rules often enough. Image-related offenses may lead to an image-ban.

Any attempts to avoid administrative actions will lead to a permanent ban.

*You will only receive a message from Halpo Police if your DMs are open for this server. The Discord Department is not liable for when a member's DMs are closed and does not receive their message/s regarding their administrative actions.

Reporting Rights

If you think that someone is breaking the rules, please provide sufficient evidence by taking a screenshot or a recording and report it through #📝create-a-ticket to any available Discord Moderator for further investigation. Be sure to include what rules they are breaking as well. Blatant false accusations or attempting to bait/frame someone into breaking the rules will be met with a sanction.

Rules and Regulations

1. No Toxic Attitude.

Please treat your fellow server members, the Discord department staff, and Moonton Staff with respect and consideration and refrain from these behaviors:

Trolling
Including but not limited to:

Deliberately attempting to elicit negative emotions or responses from other server members
Providing false information with an attempt to mislead people
Unnecessary pinging of members especially when they have asked you to stop
Unnecessary pinging of staff roles
Copy pasting a moderator's answers to mock
Toxic game suggestions sent to the developers. A possible block from making a suggestion might happen. You may appeal to be unblocked at #discord-support

Posting sensitive/offensive material
Including but not limited to:

Topics such as politics, religion, acts of violence, rape, suicide, dark humor and other serious topics.

Harassing members
This applies both to DMs among members of the Mobile Legends Discord Server and public chat channels of the Mobile Legends Discord Server.
This also includes insults or other actions that target a specific member in order to make them feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.

Usage of offensive terms
Including but not limited to:

Bypassing chat filters, racial slurs, regardless of context, intention or target.

Arguing with Server Staff
While measured discussion and questions regarding why you or a member was punished for something is acceptable, attacking the MLBB Discord Global Department Staff or becoming belligerent over being warned will likely result in further administrative actions being taken against you. You may #📝create-a-ticket and make a ticket so a Discord Moderator can assist you regarding your concerns for disputes.

Elitism
Refrain from insulting players for playing Mobile Legends, regardless of server choice, rank, level of knowledge and preferences.

Incitement
Including but not limited to:

Encouraging the breaking of rules and regulations
Inciting others to be rude or offensive
Promoting and/or encouraging conflicts between members.

This will result in administrative actions being given to both the rulebreakers and those encouraging rule breaking.

Insinuating/Engaging in drama or bringing outside drama
You may mention the <@&408944421414109194> role when a drama/heated discussion/argument happens. Engaging before and after the Discord Moderator takes action will warrant you administrative actions, this is regardless of who started it.

Disrupting voice lobbies
The rules and regulations apply to the voice lobbies of the server. Should any of the rules and regulations get violated in the voice lobbies, it will be met with the same administrative actions given that there is enough proof of the violation.

Impersonation
Including but not limited to:

Impersonating server staff, server members, server bots or pretending to be the person who won a giveaway.
Using someone else’s game ID without explicit consent.

This will result in you getting banned with no prior warning.

2. Please refrain from spamming server members/channels.

Spam is a term used to define unsolicited, repetitive or bulk messages sent. Spamming is prohibited in the server or in DMs to server members. This includes images, texts, links, emoji spam or spam mentioning roles and/or members.

Additionally, refrain from sending any form of content that may cause seizure.

3. Advertising is not allowed within the server and in DMs.

Including but not limited to:

Linking other Discord servers
Attempting to advertise your social media platforms, giveaways and any form of promotions without permission from the MLBB Discord Global Department.

4. Using or helping someone to use hacks/cheats is prohibited.

Using Discord to promote, encourage, or distribute hacks and cheats is against Discord’s ToS. While discussion of the existence of hacks is allowed, using, disclosing or inquiring how to obtain modded APKs or otherwise hack/modify Mobile Legends is strictly prohibited. Anyone convicted under this rule may be punished by an instant ban. If you found these and want to report, you may head to #📝create-a-ticket and make a ticket to report it to one of our Discord Moderators.

5. No age-restricted content.

Please refrain from posting sexually-explicit, suggestive, inappropriate and/or age-restricted content on this server (including the game suggestions sent to the developers). In addition to the Discord guidelines on sexual content, age-restricted content is to be judged under the following guidelines:

No explicit genitalia
Including but not limited to:

Clothed, but still clearly visible genitalia

No implied sexual activity
Including but not limited to:

Sexual activity even with clothes
Implied sexual activity has been cropped away.
Forms of implied pleasure faces (Ahegao is an example).

No implied nudity
This involves using censorship of any sort to convey the impression that the characters in the content sent are fully nude.

No asset cropping
Cropping otherwise appropriate images to focus specifically on genitalia or to make it sexually suggestive

No age-restricted status/profile/content
Text, image, sticker, emote content will be judged similarly. Please note that sharing direct links or implied discussions on age-restricted content will be treated as a violation of age-restricted rules and will be punished as well.

If you are unsure as to whether your content is in violation of the age-restricted rules, please head to #📝create-a-ticket and make a private ticket/thread so you can ask a Discord Moderator to review your content before posting it.

6. Do not post other user's personal information.

Including but not limited to:

Posting or leaking other server members’ real names, addresses, social media, etc. whether in server or in a server member's DMs.

If it is determined that a member is sharing this information without consent and in an attempt to troll/harm them, it will be considered doxxing and will result in a permanent ban in accordance to Discord ToS and Community Guidelines.

7. Follow user profile guidelines.

Your Discord profile (main avatar, server avatar, username, server nickname, main banner, server banner, status, about me) and your in-game profile (avatar, album content and username) should be compliant with the rules and regulations of the server, and Discord's Community Guidelines.

8. Selling, buying, in-game Account/Squad/Currency/Items and pilot/boosting services are prohibited. Asking/begging for Discord-related items/purchases is also not allowed and will warrant you an Administrative action.

Attempting to/Trolling to purchase, sell, or ask for a Mobile Legends or any other game account or items is prohibited. This also applies to attempts to sell or advertise any sort of “account piloting” service or in-game currency “diamonds”.

9. Mini modding/Mini moderating.

Mini modding/Mini moderating is defined as someone who is trying to take over a moderator’s job. Though we do appreciate the simple gestures to help out a member, we try to avoid misinformation as much as possible. Discord Moderators are trained to answer a member’s query as professionally as possible. If a member wishes to help, they are more than welcome to guide other members to the appropriate channels should the need arise.

10. Proper Channel Usage.

Some channels have additional rules from the rules listed here. Please make sure to read the channel description and pinned messages of a channel before chatting there. Use each channel for their own purpose. It is a requirement for you to speak English at all times (with the exception of casual sending of untranslatable words) in every channel except language specific channels which can be obtained at #role-assignment channel. This is implemented so that other members may understand what you are trying to relay/say. There are also bot-specific channels.

Any neglect of the channel use and rules will be met with sanctions. If you aren't sure which channel is for which purpose, please check #949331887707553863

11. Anything that can get you banned in-game can get you banned in the server.

All actions made by a member, that violates the game's Terms of Services, inside or outside the server, will result in an immediate ban as long as there is enough verified proof. Read the ToS here: https://m.mobilelegends.com/en/newsdetail/473

12. Violating the Discord Terms of Service, Discord Community Guidelines, and #1381980387311620116 message will result in an immediate and irrevocable ban.

The server strictly complies to Discord requirements as it is an official server and will not tolerate members that violate anything that is stated at https://discordapp.com/guidelines and https://discordapp.com/terms.

Take note that statements and content that violate the Discord ToS and Discord Community Guidelines, even if it is meant as a joke, for trolling, inside or outside the server, etc, with enough verified proof, will be taken seriously.

13. Miscellaneous Rules.

Streaming

Non Moonton-affiliated applications in the server’s voice lobbies will get you disconnected and warned. If the violation is repeated, it will result in a ban without prior notice.
Streaming official media content in the lobbies is discouraged. We prefer our members rather put the traffic in the actual platform the content is released. This will result in a warn with a request that you watch the content in its official platform.

Web/Invite events

If you do not help those who helped you even though you sent your web/invite link, you will be given a Scammer role so that the members will be aware of your actions
Repetitive scamming/Multiple verified reports of scamming will result in a ban
Intentionally scamming members and/or falsifying scenarios to obtain the Scammer role with enough proof, will result in a ban
Server members who have been found to be helping with falsifying/framing other fellow server members will be given administrative actions. Should similar actions be committed, with enough proof, will be met with a ban.

Support threads

A moderator, under certain circumstances, will create a thread to focus on a member's query so that they may be assisted efficiently. If you seek assistance/help in the support channel, you may wait for a moderator to make a thread for your concern.

In the event that another member intentionally chooses to enter a thread that they should not be in/is not their own, they will be warned and kicked out of the thread, should they repeat this action, they will be met with heavier sanctions.

Links

Do not share random links. Members are generally not allowed to share links with these exceptions; The link is official content. The link is for a game query/concern.

Support threads and tickets
You can open a public thread or a private ticket via our #📝create-a-ticket system. Designated Staff assists in chronological order and will get to your thread/ticket as soon as possible.

Bot music rules and guide

If you'd like to play music, you may join a voice channel and add songs to the queue. Please use the same music bot as the one in the voice channel.

Do not add more than 1 music bot in 1 music channel.

Members are not allowed to skip songs in a voice channel that is used by others.
You are allowed to skip a song ONLY IF everyone in the voice channel that you are in agrees for the song to be skipped OR IF you are alone with the music bot.

Queued songs must adhere to the existing rules and regulations of the server.

Events, Scrims and Tournament Guidelines

1.General Guidelines

All #rules-and-regulations rules apply during events, scrims and tournaments.

2.Event Mechanics and Instructions

All Participants must follow the specific event mechanics and rules posted in #discord-events , #scrim-announcements and the tournament rules at all times during the whole event duration.
Event mechanics and rules are posted and pinned in their respective event channels. Participants are encouraged to review and adhere to them to ensure a smooth and fair experience for everyone.

3.Server, Events, Scrims and Tournament Rule Violations

Depending on the severity, breaking server, event, scrim or tournament rules may result in immediate disqualification from the event, immediate banning from the event, and possible forfeiture of rewards.
Should a member be disqualified in the middle of an event, all rewards obtained in the said event prior to the disqualification will be forfeited.

4.Cheating during Event, Scrims and Tournaments
Cheating during events, scrims and tournaments including but not limited to:

Using AI generated images and or contents to participate in UGC events.
Stealing someone’s artwork to submit as their own event entry.
Colluding with other participants to gain unfair advantage during events and tournaments.
Tampering/altering official event assets in order to manipulate the event outcome.
Submitting false information for scrims and tournament registrations.
Impersonating as a staff member, another participant or event bot in order to manipulate the event outcome or troll fellow event participants.
Spreading false information to fellow participants in order to gain advantage.
Exploiting loopholes or attempting to manipulate the event mechanics for an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.

5.Repeat offenses and violations during Event, Scrims and Tournaments

Repeated violations after warnings may lead to disqualification from all future server-hosted events including scrims and tournaments, and forfeiture of all pending rewards.
Members who incur a total of three (3) disqualifications from all events will automatically be banned from participating in future events and forfeiture of all pending rewards.

6.Event Appeal Process

Members banned from server events may submit an appeal after 3 months by creating a support ticket at #📝create-a-ticket and selecting Discord Event Support > Appeal.
Repeated offense after an appeal will result in irrevocable ban from server events.

7.Event Reward Policy

Event rewards are sent to the game ID linked to the winners’ Discord profile 6-8 weeks after the event has concluded.
Winners and distributed rewards are announced at #discord-event-updates. Participants may check this channel to confirm rewards distribution.
Changing the account where diamond rewards are sent is not allowed.
If there are any delays with rewards or queries, please create a ticket at #📝create-a-ticket and select Discord Event Support > I have questions regarding my event reward

8.Staff Conduct & Support

The Event Facilitators are trained to host events and to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone. Please respect and follow their instructions. If you have any concerns about how an event was handled, kindly raise the issue via #📝create-a-ticket and select Discord Event Support after the event.
Any form of disruptions or disrespect towards staff, whether during or after an event, scrimmage or tournament, will not be tolerated and may result in sanctions.

9.Guidelines Modification
The Mobile Legends Global Discord staff team reserves the right to modify or update the aforementioned guidelines at any time without prior notice.


Failure to comply will result in appropriate sanctions including but not limited to warnings, disqualifications, permanent banning from event participation and forfeiture of event rewards.```
