I think you were following the player logs step at the top of that whole thread, the thing I linked to should have auto-focused Discord on the heading that says "I've lost my cosmetics / levels / re-rolls / etc"

yes nothing worked, ive been through this before so i followed the same steps
im just upset i lost all my easter stuff
everything else i can earn again the bunny/ lamb ears and the 2 bunny masks and 1 bunny clothes

It's possible your save files corrupted, I'm seeing an error in your log that suggests that's the case. It's unusual for the backups to be corrupted too, but it has happened before. I'll need to create new save files for you, but our admin tool doesn't currently have the new stuff, so it'll need to wait a bit until I can get someone to update it. I'll poke them tonight in case they have some time.
In the meantime, I'll need to know all of the data you lost so I can recreate it for you:
Please list all of the cosmetics you remember having, including music discs. If you use a cosmetic tracker a link to that would work great, or if your friends have the same cosmetics as you had, screenshots of each cosmetic window in the tent would work great too.
If you lost all other data as well, not just cosmetics, I'll need to know:
- Player level
- Number of tickets
- Number of stamps (separated by rare vs hardcore)
- What monsters and maps you had unlocked for custom cases

as for the monsters i had all but the creep unlocked spent weeks re rolling certain maps to get them all

Heya, my cosmetics tool was updated now so I can get to work on this. Can you make your Google doc accessible for everyone that has the link, please? I would also double-check that all the cosmetics list is up-to-date if you got anything new over the weekend so I can be sure to include it in the new save files.
If you can also let me know how many tickets and stamps you remember having (separated by rare vs hardcore stamps) and how many you currently have, that'd be great so it doesn't get wiped to 0 if I create new saves without those included.

Here are your new save files. To use them, close the game if it's still open, then go into the 76561198856818651 folder (in the same place you found your logs). Delete your current customization_n, equipment, and player_n .dat files.
After that, download my files and place them in the 76561198856818651 folder. Launch the game and see if everything looks correct once you've done that. If I missed any cosmetic let me know what's missing and I'll send an updated file.

Hm, I guess it's possible Steam Cloud is overwriting them, but it's not supposed to when new saves have more data than previous saves. You can try temporarily disabling Steam Cloud and then repeat the steps I gave. You can disable it by right clicking Labyrinthine in the library, click Properties, and the Steam Cloud toggle should be on that first tab that opens up

Okay awesome, if everything looks good you should be able to re-enable Steam Cloud (close the game first). Once you do that, the next time you launch the game it'll say there's a conflict between local files and Cloud saves, and ask how you want to handle it. Choose local files and it'll back up the new save files instead of overwriting them.

Here's the new cosmetics and custom case info save files. If you already re-enabled Steam Cloud you might need to disable it again to prevent it from doing that weird overwriting thing from last night. This time when you go to replace your current files, you only have to delete the customization_n and equipment .dat files. Leave the player_n.dat file alone as that just contains your player level, tickets, and re-roll tokens.
