Hello, I lost some cosmetics from last night. I followed the steps to get back up files and got almost all of my cosmetics back, except for two. Jack O'Frowning and Skelly Music Disc

Okay I think I got them all. If you're in-game right now, close the game, and then I would first recommend deleting or backing up your current customization_n.dat file. If you want to back it up, put it in a different part of your computer like the desktop.
After you've done that, download this file and then place it in the 76561198019541511 folder where you deleted/backed up the previous file. Launch the game and then check to see if you've got everything that you should have.

Well, everything looks good, but the cosmetics I was missing from last night, still aren't there.

Hm, that means I missed something from your spreadsheet, so it's overwriting my file with the one in the Cloud since it has "more data". Give me a few minutes to look it over again
Try this one, but before you download it, make sure to delete the one in your Downloads folder first. Otherwise this one will download with the name being something like customization_n (1).dat, which will break the file and it will use a version from Steam Cloud again.

Right, but when I recreate the file, I need to include everything you currently have on top of the two cosmetics that you're missing, because what I'm doing is basically creating a whole new cosmetics file for you. The problem is if I'm missing any items that you currently have in my file that I give you, there's going to be a data mismatch between the Steam Cloud version of your save file and my version of your save file, so the Cloud version will overwrite my file unless there's more data than it currently has.

You know what. It might be the VR headset? I think we all got it for last years nomination. I had it unchecked but it should be checked since we all have it, right?

The cosmetics that are awarded automatically (party hat, VR headset, supporter edition, etc.) can be left off since the game runs checks for those each time you launch it, so they should be getting added automatically 
But I'll see if adding them makes a difference once I finish triple-checking the rest

You're totally fine, I think this is mainly just helping me pitch that we need a way to upload players' current cosmetic files so I can just add what's missing in situations like these 😂 It's just finding the time to do so is all.
I checked and everything you have to pick up/buy is all in there, so let's give this one a try that has the supporter edition + level unlocks + auto-awarded ones and if it still doesn't work, I'll need to check with Michal to see what could be going wrong. Like last time make sure the last one you downloaded is deleted from your Downloads folder first 🙂

Well, I'm stumped at the moment 😅 I'm going to have to see what I can figure out with Michal -- really sorry for the trouble! If you end up finding the cosmetics again just let me know here, otherwise we'll definitely get these back to you one way or another once we figure out what's wrong.

Heya! If you still need those 2 cosmetics, would you be able to send me your current customization_n.dat file in the 76561198019541511 folder? Michal developed me a new tool last night that will let me take a current cosmetics file, add stuff to it, and then send it back to you. This will address any possible human error element where I could somehow overlook a cosmetic in a list I've been given, or where someone might forget to include a cosmetic they have in a list.
So assuming I didn't mess anything up when creating the files I kept giving you, this should work unless something else is at play, at which case I'll go back to the drawing board 😅

Okay let's give it a try, and I have something I'd like you to do first. If you're in-game, close out when you can. Right click Labyrinthine in your Steam library and go to "Properties". Untoggle the "Keep game's saves in the Steam Cloud for Labyrinthine" option.
After that, in your 76561198019541511 folder, move the current customization_n.dat file to your desktop. Then download my copy, make sure it doesn't have any numbers or anything added to it (e.g. customization_n (1).dat is bad), and then move it into the 76561198019541511 folder. Launch the game and see if the music disc is in.
If everything looks good, close the game again, and then you can re-enable the Steam Cloud option. Next time you launch the game you might get a warning that your saves aren't synced, choose the local files option. If it says something else and you're not sure what to do, take a screenshot and send it here and I'll tell you what to choose.

it WORKED!! Yaaay I have everything. I'll check each cosmetic one by one later, but I definitely have the music disc and all the halloween cosmetics I've found so far! Everything is back in order, steam cloud re-enabled!

So... I found something else out that I didn't notice until literally today. I have none of my stamps or monsters or maps unlocked... Lol. All of it got reset

Can you list how many stamps you had and what monsters/maze types you had unlocked? I'll need to have Michal generate that file, but probably won't get done until Monday as it's our weekend.

Well, I really don't remember how many stamps I had. Between blue stamps and hardcore ones. But I had all the maps and monsters unlock.
