Hello, I have recently ran into some buggy quirks that make it seemingly gamebreaking, this all has occurred on Arch Linux.
Originally my game loaded fine and I could switch between the items I wanted without issue, later on in the second case file the game froze midway through it and became unresponsive out of nowhere. I had to externally shut it down. The following are symptoms I'm seeing right now after that occurrence:
A) You load into the match and can select items freely, a monster downs you but you get picked up - you may pick up items/cosmetics but you can no longer do anything but basic movements (rotate, crouch, walk, run), you lose the ability to switch to your glowsticks or compass, and you cannot choose a light source anymore.
B) Same as point A but instead of being picked up, you instead bleed out then respawn to which the issue is now present and affecting you.
C) You load into the match with the bug affecting you immediately, you may still roam around normally, but nothing in your left or right hands can be selected or swapped to.
All of these outcomes cause this bug to persist between case files, leaving one case file for another brings the bug along with it.
I have further verified the game files via Steam then relaunched the game to the bug persisting.
I'm uncertain if this is a quirk of Linux per a recent update, or this game, or a mixture of the two. I was playing fine just a week or so ago with no issues and only discovered it when I booted it up to play with 2 others whom play from a Windows device who did not run into such an issue where I did.
I was not aware to check for logs after the game originally froze and needed to be force-closed and only sought them out after I had re-verified the game files. As such, the attached files cover the before and after verifying the game files and not the time of the game freeze that came before this issue.
