#Negative Feedbacks about game physics - Ragdoll making

i use lots of physics in my ragdolls, not only for posing them, but also to add details since x1 micro bricks are not possible due to the game being 90% if not 100% based on a x2 micro scale.

The current physics can go very unstable very quickly, which makes things take much more time than it needs to be, including the fact that most ragdolls can get ruined by physics if not carefully moved with the physic tool.

I don't know what is wrong, if it is the physic tool or if it is the physics themselves.

If it is the physics themselves, i hope they get improved over the updates.

If it is a problem concerning the physic tool, it can only go in both ways, the tool's maybe too weak to move very heavy objects or it's too powerful and the physics start breaking apart.

Considering how physics can become unstable, most the time, it doesn't allow me to make detailed ragdolls. Which is important for me to give them a soul, give them life.

For now it's still early access, Brickadia is only at it's very beginning, even tho there's some issues, i am having fun playing.
I hope the best for Brickadia to his final stages, and i have to say that the upcoming updates are looking very promising for the future.

If anyone has tips that can help, i am interested. This could allow me to improve my ragdolls at the current time.

I feel like bearings and sliders are unstable either way. Like when i connect something to a bearing, i don't want it to be able to bend and have the connection point lift above the bearing which happens everytime your object isn't perfectly balanced. Like if I put something on a slider, I want that object to stay at the slider's angle. Not... bend.

I absolutely LOVE making contraptions and doors, but the more complex they are, the more grids I use, and most of the time they're bugged or ruined by those issues because the angles are just. "eh........i dunno....."

To have built on roblox for years, bearings/hinges absolutely do not behave like they do on brickadia

#

And teardown is a bad example because they literally do this on purpose for the destruction physics so stuff doesn't stay floating and bends & breaks if too heavy

#

If i attach something to another part on roblox, excuse the language, but that shit won't lift lol
At least, depends what physics it uses considering they reworked them a few years back iirc

Mmm, that makes sense, but really becomes inconvenient as soon as you have anything you need to move while staying aligned on the grid because it just... doesn't

But i would call it a necessary evil

Eh, it's clearly fixeable while keeping a safety margin. depending on what you make it's genuinely crazy how much off axis it "bends"
