An option that just mirrors the current tool in the player's hand to the left side ala counter-strike

I wish I could be left handed in Brickadia and not just real life

I agree with this, BUT it also gives me an idea: dual-wield mode
left click triggers the primary hand, right click triggers the secondary

so say, placer in one hand, and painter in the off-hand. Left click will place, right click will paint. Right click delete functionality of the placer will be overridden by the off-hand tool while its equipped.

#

This would make it so much nicer to build, allowing us to save massive amounts of time for big projects which is spent by switching tools over and over and over and over...

Dual wielding would rock

#

crimson trench
#

real mango
#

now tell me your opinions on left-handedness

crimson trench
#

its very 11% of people

real mango
#

Accessibility has to account for as many people if not, everyone

#

a small percentage of the world is colorblind, is it still not important to account for colorblind options?

crimson trench
#

i mean its not like your character being right handed when you are left handed is that bad, but i think it would be cool to have, yeah

#

thats different cause being colorblind is a disability, while being left handed makes it like. mildly more annoying to use scissors

#

and even then you can just buy flipped scissors or ask a 4d friend to flip some normal ones and its fine

real mango
#

It's more so about eye dominance, it's especially important in a building game where its easier for someone with a dominant right eye to focus on a clearer space without a tool in the way

#

being able to flip between left/right i feel would be fairly useful in that regard

crimson trench
#

huh

#

as someone with a wonky ass right eye, i never really noticed that

crimson trench
#

cool

real mango
#

its quite brief

crimson trench
#

didnt know that was a thing

real mango
#

ayup sure is

crimson trench
#

...well, for normal people, at least. i just assumed it was the amblyopia

real mango
#

now you understand mon ami

#

join us

crimson trench
#

i'm still right handed

real mango
#

but are you right eye dominant..

crimson trench
#

no i just said

#

well, implied i guess

#

left eye dominant

#

wonder what the ratio is for that

#

is it just 50/50?

#

oh, its 70 right vs 30 left

#

guess i am some kind of leftie even if it is just from the Illnesses

This makes no sense
When focusing on the object, my hands don’t perfectly overlap because I’m focusing past them (so both eyes are seeing them at slightly different angles). So I can place the object in either the right or left version of my hands and get either dominance. Or put it in the middle and I’m apparently equally left/right
