idk how to feel about the seat component targeting the center of the character and not the butt, it's very counter intuitive.

It would make more sense if it was the targeted the butt of the player such that the player would sit on the "top" surface of the brick (or other surface; adjusted using the applicator tool). Likewise, it would be nice to be able to not only adjust where the player is when they exit the seat, but also the orientation of the player when they are sitting in the seat.

tbf, the seat component was re-added when they fixed the glitched components and didn't get a usability pass. I'm guessing it targets whichever spot on the player would line them up properly with the normal seat brick

Six has mentioned wanting to add some sort of gizmo visualization for seat location because atm its not very obvious how it works and where the player will sit. Afaik if you rotate a brick the player will sit at that rotated angle just like a normal seat brick
