#How is ticks per second so bad

Server with maybe a million bricks, and getting to 9/10 people alone and the ticks per second just starts to nosedive regardless of entities and them being frozen. Any idea what I could do about it?

does the host client having low fps reduce tickrate?
from the vid you posted of a light randomly disapearing, I'd assume there's lots of lights in there, those could affect fps and therefore tickrate I guess?

or maybe network bandwidth stuff, since you're streaming

could also try stress testing the brick color changer thing that got added recently, idk how much of a load that has

could try reverting to a previous save and then loading a large alpha build (no components/wires) with the same players and see if the tickrate is better, then you would know if it's just cause of the raw brick count or not
