I'm currently working on FULL SIZED recreation of Shadow Moses from Metal Gear solid 1, complete with level transitions. since elevators will be an issue, I have some ideas to incoporate ways to transition between floors. otherwise, I'm going to keep it as faithful as I can to the original, while taking some creative liberities here and there. I'd love feedback and help if you're interested in this massive project!

(I'll be updating this as I work on it, so don't expect anything to look finalized until stated otherwise.)

(W.I.P, HELP NEEDED!) SHADOW MOSES: A MGS1 Recreation

#

I got the basis for the starting area down i think. I made sure that it was correctly scaled, and it's prertty decent to navigate

#

I'm not gonna close off this area though with the actual cave-structure until I complete the helipad, that way it'll be easier for me to navigate in and out. also, for flow reasons I was curious of either having the player start off in a room that tells them the perferred settings before teleporting them to the water in which they swim up to the staircase, or having the player start where you actually start gameplay in MGS1.

#

my other intention is trying to figure out how to set-up the elevator system. I was thinking of either setting up a button teleport to the next area, OR maybe adding a "remix" where I had a staircase next to the elevator instead. will need to figure out the flow.

#

also updated details on everything to make it stand out a bit more. will do even more detailing at some point for the starting area, but I want to have at least two areas set-up before preceeding

Next is the heliport, which I will use this image as reference for scaling/size/placement. geometry for the mountain walls will be tough, but it might also be a helpful learning experience.
