specifically: bullets come out slightly higher than normal while crouched or seated on players other than the host

videos attached help portray this error

this bug should only be tested in multiplayer, and the tester cannot be the host (unless im wrong?)

this is a bug that will occur at any range so long as the player is seated or crouched

if the bullets passef thru the window properly, they should activate the target and beeper on hit

notice how when the cameraman demonstrates the bug, his bullets appear pass thru the window just fine, but do not actually register, this is tge most damning part of the bug imo

note that different weapons behave differently with this bug: the grenade launcher works fine and the pump shotgun (i forget which one) half-works

also bullets really should be emitting from the actual end of the guns barrel too

if the gun barrel is through a hole in bricks the bullets should be emitting from where it is, not where the player is

#

this would make firing holes much more usable as a strategic position, such as defending a castle with a bow and arrow

i think the server doesn't take crouching into account properly at all sometimes?
when picking up a prop either with your hands or the manipulator it stays up when you crouch as if you were still standing
not sure if it's the same issue though

cause this would mean this issue is not isolated to guns alone

still a bug on the unstable branch as of time of posting

interesting development: this bug does not appear to affect players (in that you are still able to hit players through such windows) but i cant tell if this is isolated to the host or not
this bug does not appear to affect bots: bots can still be shot thru windows

the issue was the server wasn't computing the correct camera location for remote players if they crouch because that was implemented in a blueprint in like 2019
