i can see the backwards movement when i step through the video frame by frame. i think this means the issue is coming from your audio hardware/driver, at least its the only way I know you'd see this happen. try updating the drivers. if that doesn't work, in preferences.ini replace the sounddrivers line with SoundDrivers=DirectSound-sw
