#[6k] Future Eve (regen=Q)

probably because there's a 6k server
6k is also almost exclusively charted in solo mode rather than pump half double
i'll give this a look, but the preview seems neat
m26.75 - this section has some weird layering. i'm trying to make sense of the triples here and it sounds like the piano has emphasis on it. you can get more mileage and impact by following this rhythm and triple layering all piano chords when they play. https://i.imgur.com/KeKKa9l.png
m29.50 - consider breaking your double 4th pattern here and underlayer the 4ths and buff the 8ths to double handed. the piano is too prevalent to simplify to split trilling. https://i.imgur.com/S67aAcF.png
m41.50 - i can appreciate the commitment to the selective and progressive layering here, but i think it's a bad call to omit that 16th drumroll during the transition. you don't have to continue layering the drums in the subsequent section as this seems to be your charting principle for this file, but some cueing to immerse the player and provide variety is the way to go imo. there's also a similar drum fill transition earlier on. you don't have to chart those earlier 16ths since it might be too much for the sparse layering, but add some mines or something to signify a transition https://i.imgur.com/tiwE28v.png
m48.67 - this is a climax, obviously. and you're correct with bumping up the difficulty with those 12ths, but layering those 16ths (once again) during the transition will provide a fun spike that adds replayability that isn't too overwhelming. https://i.imgur.com/OqWrYQK.png
m50.00 - i don't agree with this omission of the backing drums. it's too bland and misses its potential. find a way to implement them https://i.imgur.com/HcSui2s.png
m59.13 - this can be left alone, but staircasing this feels like pandering to me. as a result, the fun of challenge is sapped. attached is a suggested alteration maintaining its accessibility and flow while upping difficulty without being too much as well as prepping the player for the incoming difficulty spike https://i.imgur.com/crg1LJs.png https://i.imgur.com/Hzg0rcB.png
m60.88 - why did you stop charting like this for this part? i was prepping for a consistent spike and variety, but it reverts back to its previous layering method. do this more for the this last half of this section. a difficulty spike is recommended. https://i.imgur.com/G5pyEfg.png
m67.13 - refer to the feedback above https://i.imgur.com/Pem7F5s.png
m68.25 - incorrect PR. review your PR in this section. the PR previously was consistent and accurate, but now it's not. if you want to change it up to avoid repetition, then consider moving the mines from the outside to the inside instead.
m83.25 - ascending piano scale starts here. i suggest moving away from 123, 321, 456, 654 patterns, especially for just single-layered 16ths at 190 bpm. they're too simple for this chart. shoot instead for something like 3456, 2356, 1234, etc. it makes more sense from a musical perspective. https://i.imgur.com/eqSvGwI.png
m85.13 - continuous drum fill that that ends at the continuous descending piano scale https://i.imgur.com/LwrBY3X.png
m86.13 - i suggest layering the xylophone/guitar and any part where it plays again later. any opportunity you see fit to add variety in a section of the music that introduces a completely new instrument or vibe change must be taken advantage of or you fall short of reaching a chart's full potential https://i.imgur.com/Gypb4Fo.png
m91.00 - very good. this is the only time when i can see justification in inward/outward scales https://i.imgur.com/zcIbDll.png
as the song reaches its chorus, consider implementing the 16th drum layer. maintaining a single layer throughout the blipbloops is fine, but having at least a new layer introduced between the 8ths, which have become stagnant at this point, adds the feeling of a chart building tension to pay off into something great. if you want to save this for the final chorus, then you can do that. the problem with chorus segments are their innate repetition, so the charter should try to find a way to counteract that.
apply all previously mentioned suggestions for the chorus.
m110.13 - we're past introductions at this point, spice it up (double-handedness, layer buff, mines, whatever you can think of to separate this from its previous iteration). https://i.imgur.com/3Vrl9QZ.png
m122.83 - underlayered crash. buff this.
m137.00 - as previously stated, consider some form of climax theory for this chorus.
m154.63 - this guitar solo section is not charted correctly. the snaps don't match what's played. it's difficult to hear, but slow down the music and approach this section again. https://i.imgur.com/hapciIM.png
m163.13 - 8th https://i.imgur.com/LrMcyga.png
m165.13 - 8th https://i.imgur.com/nei60nf.png
m167.25 - missed potential with matching patterning to the drum transition. attached is a suggested alteration https://i.imgur.com/Tjq0Tgo.png https://i.imgur.com/cTk9lZi.png
m168.25 - not sure how i feel about this. you can keep it as is, but... i get that you're going out with a boom, but the sudden shift from 16th drums to 12th piano is jarring to me. find a way to insert your version of climax theory here without relying on that focal shift, if possible. https://i.imgur.com/wzX2Wet.png
overall, a nice, thematically consistent chart. i think there's a level of boldness that you can stand to benefit from if you try to chart outside of the boundaries of your comfort zone. relying too heavily on flow will yield decidedly bland gameplay. smartly throwing a wrench in the players' gears will add fun factor to your charts and boost replayability, so don't shy away from doing that. always great to see a new chart with fundamental, technical methods. chart more 6k!
@blissful sequoia thanks for the feedback! i just implemented most of your suggestions that i'd understood as well as changed some things myself, and the chart's no longer in pump halfdouble lol
