random tundra
#

shi I made someone wake up

#

LMAO

#

yeah I its think a bit louder than my regular chest

#

comparing to chest bass without pushing it so much

narrow pike
#

try pushing that 2nd note

random tundra
#

lemme revors it

#

the thing is that I don't want to accidentally yell with chest bass and wake up someone again lol

random tundra
#

then I push it

narrow pike
#

thats what took me some time to figure out as well

#

like you dont really want to necessarily push the standard chest bass youre doing with it but rather target the other side that gets added after tilting with your vocals

random tundra
#

oh

#

ok

#

ye pretty much just messing around, right?

narrow pike
#

ye

random tundra
#

ye I will do that

#

ty for the help

narrow pike
#

np

random tundra
#

babbon bass?

fervent crow
#

sounds close to it

#

but needs more pushing and voice

random tundra
#

Hmm ok

random tundra
random tundra
fervent crow
#

Nice

#

Man the overtone is wild

random tundra
#

YEAH

#

It's loud

#

Oh actually i got the concepts wrong lmao

#

This is poly chest

#

Chest + slizzer

#

I'm dumb as hell

#

Its dissonant af

random tundra
#

And I don't think my neck is popping off

narrow pike
#

neck tilting isnt exactly needed for poly chest at all

#

ervinho has a straight neck too

#

if you got good muscle control youll just make it work either way it just depends on the interval and techniques used

#

tilting your neck is just another way to control it

random tundra
#

Oh makes sense

random tundra
#

Just need to get the bass again because it's a hard spot to get in

narrow pike
#

ye poly chest is inconsistent until you know exactly what to look for for a texture

#

im not even at that stage yet imma be real

winged shuttle
#

I was wondering if anyone else tried this but I lost the tone I was getting earlier it's like almost vibration bass but I mixed it with pwads bass and it had a nasty texture for a minute but you didn't need to use your uvula the position itself works

random tundra
#

Bruh

random tundra
#

Atleast I already know how to do it

#

Ty for the help again

narrow pike
#

no problem

narrow pike
narrow pike
#

it honestly sounds nuts

#

and its so damn loud

#

like so loud when i do it on recording you can barely hear my kicks over it

narrow pike
#

shi ion know

#

i just do it

#

vibration + poly chest neck pos

#

= grunt with both cuneiforms active

random tundra
#

watafoq

#

can u send a recording of it?

narrow pike
#

also super hard to do consistently

#

thats why it sounds smeary sometimes

#

like this technique is still pretty new to me

random tundra
#

damn thats a nice texture

narrow pike
#

thanks

brazen elbow
narrow pike
#

poly chest in this case means 2 chest basses at once

#

then distortion means false cords are also activated

brazen elbow
#

how?

narrow pike
#

neck shenanigans

#

tilting head hard

#

for normal chest bass either the left OR right cuneiform is active while for poly chest left AND right is active and desyncronized

gusty iron
#

what is that sick sound on the second sequence

#

the synth sounding bass

#

is that some kind of tongue bass?

brazen elbow
#

i think its pitched babeli bass?

stuck stump
#

Damn I was practicing lip rolls and I accidentally did a weird whistle

brazen elbow
#

i can to helium's whistle with a liproll?

stuck stump
#

Mm

random tundra
#

is this somehow something close to a tight evil bass?

#

I hate so much that loose evil bass I was doing

#

trying ot figure out to do it right

#

doing it vocalized with falsetto sounds better

#

but the moment I get rid of the vocalization on it, it sounds so bad

random tundra
#

I actually use this a lot on beats

random tundra
lusty wagon
stuck stump
#

Sounds cool

stuck stump
#

Why when I do my lip roll I make like a slurping noise

narrow pike
#

especially when fully layered with a liproll

#

i do it with a side inward lazer whistle instead

#

gets a really clean whistle inside the liproll

#

also really loud

#

also tryna layer it with inward falsetto atm but its still inconsistent

narrow pike
fervent crow
#

I do a high punchy liproll, or whistle punchy, a fair bir

random tundra
random tundra
fervent crow
#

Gimme a sec

random tundra
#

ok

limpid moat
#

Hey i just need to get started with chest bass i watched videos but i dont quite get it cz i can beatbox and its like hard cz i mix the sound with normal bass

fervent crow
#

So maby

#

Cause comparing it to adi's byeegh evil

random tundra
#

So I can get hardbass

random tundra
#

Only doing a high pitch chest bass and falsetto and a 3rd note appears from nowhere

#

Only appears when the chest bass is vocalized

random tundra
#

omg I think I found out a way to engage poly chest while doing this

#

its more distorted with the poly chest note under it

fervent crow
random tundra
fervent crow
#

thats legit as high as i can physically go

#

i was almost coughing from that

random tundra
#

so try to push much more

narrow pike
#

ion know just my take

#

i guess the approach can work but its almost like remix saying to overtighten jayton voice for vibration bass

#

just depending on a heavy dose of luck

narrow pike
#

i mean what id try to do is take inward chest and inward throat and combine em

#

but i barely train inward so take it with a grain of salt

fervent crow
#

i cant do inward throat

#

actually ive done it once

narrow pike
#

you can do inward chest?

fervent crow
#

when subharmonikz found out it was possible

#

oh and cant do inward chest either

#

only inward evil, like most people

narrow pike
#

ye ok then in my humble opinion youd need control of another part as well

#

cuz imagine hitting vibration bass without false cords

#

not really possible either

#

i cant even imagine poly evil being possible

#

the arytenoids are so big compared to everything else

#

unless you find a way to desync em?

fervent crow
#

unless you do evil false fold + arytenoid evil, like i made sub do

narrow pike
#

i mean ye but im speaking arytenoid only

random tundra
#

my inward bass just sounds like a loose (tight) inward bass

#

and I can do poly inward

narrow pike
#

what inward you use

#

inward throat and inward evil right

random tundra
#

lemme record

random tundra
#

prob just inward evil

narrow pike
random tundra
#

I do not practice inward throat

#

even tho I tyhink I got it one day

#

lemme get it into double

#

shi ass recording omg

#

I will record it again lmao

#

@narrow pike

narrow pike
#

shi man im honestly not the best at deciphering inward from sound

random tundra
#

lmao

#

idk if its inward chest or not

#

idk how inward chest should sound

narrow pike
#

check kindred vid perchance

#

only thing that I can add is tilt your head and if it stops working or starts becoming super inconsistent then inward zombie or inward chest are definitely involved

#

evil and throat should work regardless of neck tilt

random tundra
#

yeah nothing happens

#

when I tilit it

narrow pike
#

try all sides

#

360°

#

make sure

random tundra
#

ah ok

#

only when I look up it goes a little werid

narrow pike
#

thats not out of the ordinary tho id say

random tundra
#

but that happens even with throat bass

narrow pike
#

ye ye

random tundra
#

so prob is inward evil

narrow pike
#

i mean my guess would be inward evil + inward throat

#

cuz look at kindreds vid inward throat bass and youll see that even then the arytenoid position is pretty different from regular throat bass

#

the false cords dont like vibrating inwards so you really have to sculpt them

#

and that involves bringing them into a more fragile position

#

meaning inward evil + throat isnt super unlikely

random tundra
#

damn

#

maybe is that

#

I remember when I got what we was thinking it was inward throat

#

it felt really similar to my double inward position

narrow pike
#

yuhhh

#

honestly your poly inward does sound pretty definitively poly as well

#

i remember kindred saying hes never heard a super clean poly inward

random tundra
#

lmao

#

subharmonikz one is even better

narrow pike
#

ye he crazy

random tundra
#

but its hard to tell how it is 100% because his more recent videos are edited af

narrow pike
#

ye fr

random tundra
#

hate that ngl

narrow pike
#

same

random tundra
#

I still can't use it on beats lmao

#

im just lazy to practice because its a weird ass spot to get in

narrow pike
#

yee

fervent crow
#

improvers is probs the cleanest besides maybe subharmonikz lol

narrow pike
#

if you want some better closure on your poly inward you should join kindreds server and ask him about it, hes crazy smart with basses and loves discussing theories of production

fervent crow
#

cause improvers been doing it for YEAARS

#

even his earliest recording was double inward apparently

random tundra
fervent crow
#

i swear i joined kindreds server

#

what the frick

random tundra
#

I just joined and heard the most funny inward bass attempt I have heard im my life

#

omfg

narrow pike
#

ye LMAO

random tundra
#

fcking impossible

#

lmaooo

#

I dont believe that guy is trying inward bass lmaoooooo

fervent crow
#

ik invite me-

narrow pike
#

ye no clue how you end up with that while trying for inward

narrow pike
fervent crow
#

tbf theres a guy in bbc that gets a burp when doing inward

#

and i mean a full extended burp

narrow pike
#

i think its that guy

random tundra
glass hemlock
#

theres like a weird pinch at the front of ur throat

#

gotta open it when u inhale

#

kinda hard to get the rattle on it tho

random tundra
#

I just swallow air

#

it works

glass hemlock
#

this easier tho cuz u can get more air

#

its like ur breathing directly into ur stomach

random tundra
#

damn thats weird

random tundra
random tundra
fervent crow
#

Sounds like it

narrow pike
#

ye

#

hard to make an interesting interval tho cus no slicer effect

random tundra
#

get it unvocalized right then vocalize it

narrow pike
#

try more kermit voice

random tundra
#

forget it, only worked on the first try lmao

#

but im def doing something wrong lmao

#

and im afraid to push it and someone hear me doing a weird ass noise

narrow pike
#

not enough epiglottis fold

#

more kermit voice

#

though poly chest isnt the bass to try and learn quietly

random tundra
random tundra
narrow pike
#

chest bass and poly chest especially practically fold the larynx into the correct position

#

its mostly a matter of shoving cuneiforms up against an asymmetric epiglottis fold

random tundra
#

idk chest bass for me just is chest bass

#

like

#

I want to make chers tbass

#

so them I do it

#

90% of time I dont even use kermit voice on it

narrow pike
#

get some experience with epiglottis position

random tundra
random tundra
#

I think I only can lock it

narrow pike
#

train kermit voice

#

its essentially just pressing the base of your tongue down cleanly against the epiglottis to form the disired angles

fervent crow
#

Imagine being able to do kermit voice

#

Couldnt be me

narrow pike
#

bruh is kermit voice really this difficult

#

like you can legit feel when the tongue presses against the epiglottis

random tundra
#

lmao

narrow pike
#

and make sure your adams apple raises thats a super important indicator for when your epiglottis is at least tilted

#

like as you move your tongue back your larynx rotates upwards

random tundra
narrow pike
#

i wouldnt try for locked poly chest its hard to do and not as clean

random tundra
#

I just want to know wtf im doing with my eppiglotis lmao

#

I really dont understand how im supposed to know which posture it is

narrow pike
#

open posture - Adams apple is normal/doesnt move
tilted - Adams apple rotates upward
locked - adams apple can be lowered/snapped into place lower than neutral

#

kermit voice is just imo the easiest way to learn cleaner controll of your epiglottis

#

and its one of the things that benefits the slicer effect on chest bass stuff

random tundra
#

I guess I ill need to search proper kermit voice tutorials lmao

#

I feel like im not even doing it right at this point

narrow pike
#

i mean

#

kermit voice just means epiglottis knurdle, which means it uses the epiglottis to make your voice resonate differently

#

so you legit just hear kermit voice

narrow pike
random tundra
#

I ill use that as a reference

#

ty

narrow pike
#

but

glass hemlock
#

epiglottis knurdle lmfao

#

im sorry that just sounds funny

random tundra
#

lol

narrow pike
#

kermit voice reinforces the epiglottis better since a larger part of the tongue is used for it which means heavier textures are easier with it as well

narrow pike
#

i didnt come up with it

#

but ye it does sound pretty goofy

fervent crow
narrow pike
#

no way

#

push tongue down and back

#

thats all there is

fervent crow
#

damnit, i thought i got vocalized chest bass

#

just a vocalized gurgle

#

of saliva

#

dawwg whyyy am i getting uvula bass when trying to do chest bass-

#

they are polar opposite positions

fervent crow
#

i think most of it is my weird aah tongue shape

#

i also physically have no clue how to raise my epiglottis or how to tilt my cuneiforms

#

why do i gotta be the "can do every family but the most common" guy

narrow pike
#

sounds like youre doing stitch voice to me

#

kinda incompatible with chest bass

#

like theres a high knurdle on your voice

#

i only know that from stitch voice

glass hemlock
#

heh heh knurdle

fervent crow
#

and thatsd all i can do

#

lol

#

mainly cause of my raised tongue

narrow pike
#

the base of your tongue is still connected to your epiglottis otherwise you couldnt swallow

#

you must be able to do kermit voice

fervent crow
#

its why when i exhale hard enough, i do uvula bass

#

without any movement

narrow pike
#

i can do that too

#

its just a matter of how you move your tongue

fervent crow
#

not a case of can, its only

#

i dont move my tongue at all

#

if i exhale

#

just uvula bass

#

lol

narrow pike
fervent crow
#

well evidently idk how to move my tongue to get it

#

cause thats me moving the base of my tongue

#

but evidently im moving the middle

narrow pike
#

double chin also isnt practical for a tilted epiglottis

fervent crow
#

i was only doing it half the time lol

#

also wait, people usually get vcb with double chinning-

#

or turtle heading

#

whatever name

narrow pike
#

yea turtle head

#

but also like double chin isnt a super clear general definition

#

uhh

#

like

fervent crow
#

well anything i try im getting nothing

narrow pike
#

poke your tongue down the way youre trying and just pull it down into your throat

#

like backward

#

and down

fervent crow
#

i get stitch voice when i try :/

narrow pike
#

cuz thats legit all it is

#

what does your adams apple do

fervent crow
#

raise

narrow pike
#

then youre putting on twang as well

fervent crow
#

ya

narrow pike
#

dont

fervent crow
#

cause idk what the hell im supposed to do

#

this is all i can do

narrow pike
#

dont do twang

fervent crow
#

this is just me moving my tongue down and back

narrow pike
#

so theres no twang

fervent crow
#

but my adams apple is raising

narrow pike
#

only a bit or does it rotate like almost into your jaw

#

so it almost disappears

fervent crow
#

without any air, only a bit, when i add air or vocals, it goes more

narrow pike
#

ye ok def stitch voice

#

iirc stitch voice is a knurdle using the arytenoids via twang

fervent crow
#

thats all i can do, thats me what feels like im moving my tongue down and back

narrow pike
#

actually i remember sometimes when my chest bass wouldnt stick i accidentally slipped into stitch voice briefly

#

but the way i avoided it is by just not tilting my arytenoids the way i did when it happened

#

it honestly wasnt that complicated to me

fervent crow
#

i have zero control over them

#

cause ive never controlled them

narrow pike
#

you use your arytenoids all the time for bringing your vocal cords together

#

and evil bass also happens on the arytenoids

#

the cuneiforms which chest bass uses only reside on the arytenoids and inside the aryepiglottic folds

#

which is why using an arytenoid knurdle makes chest bass difficult

fervent crow
#

ya

#

and i have no clue how to do anything else

#

i can press my arytenoids together, and not

#

no inbetweens

narrow pike
#

arytenoid rotation

fervent crow
narrow pike
#

and youre moving your tongue down

#

dont pull your head in maybe

fervent crow
#

im not

#

my head is perfectly still, exactly where i left it

narrow pike
#

try moving head forward

#

giraffe neck

#

chest bass needs its space

#

no pun intended

fervent crow
#

same exact result

#

no difference

narrow pike
#

nah no way

fervent crow
#

yup

narrow pike
#

and tongue moving down fr?

fervent crow
#

i think

#

i have no clue

#

i cant see it

narrow pike
#

like you really want a buldge under the back of your lower jaw that also extends into the throat

fervent crow
#

I dont think i can actually move my tongue down, just cause of how humpbacked it is

#

Only time it ever flattens in the back is when i hollow my throat

narrow pike
#

vro

#

thats closer to a kermit voice than anything else

fervent crow
#

Its the same thing i was doing tho, sounds the exact same, feels the exact same

narrow pike
#

maybe yo phone audio

#

i mean the middle line like creasing in looks right

fervent crow
narrow pike
#

youre just not moving your tongue down far enough

fervent crow
#

Thats as far as i know how

narrow pike
#

but you have to be able to do that

#

as a human

#

get a endoscope

fervent crow
#

I do not

#

Have the money for that

narrow pike
#

bruh 20 bucks

glass hemlock
#

even less

#

get one of the 'tooth cleaning camera' things but only use the camera

narrow pike
#

i would not insert an aliexpress endoscope into my larynx

fervent crow
glass hemlock
#

just get ur shots beforehand

fervent crow
#

more worried about it breaking or being too big

#

lol

#

the epiglottis is a strong fricken muscle

#

hurts like hell when you pinch your finger with it

narrow pike
#

bro what

glass hemlock
#

i dunno bro i got a wham neck

fervent crow
#

thats how he found out chest bass was arytenoids

#

lol

glass hemlock
#

that sounds like a weird mint

#

arytenoid

#

altoid

narrow pike
glass hemlock
#

altoids for your arytenoids

fervent crow
narrow pike
#

ah

fervent crow
#

lol

#

back then it was just he stuck a finger down his throat, held his epiglottis down, and did chest bass

glass hemlock
#

thats a long ass finger

fervent crow
#

no actually

#

tbh

narrow pike
#

your vocal tract is smaller than youd think

fervent crow
#

the epiglottis is not far down

glass hemlock
#

i mean i dont usually havs things except food down my throat

fervent crow
#

people can raise their epiglottis to the point you can see it at the back of their mouth

glass hemlock
#

i wouldnt know

fervent crow
#

subharmonikz showed me a vid of it

#

its freaky

#

looked like one of those parasites that eat fish tongues and take its place

narrow pike
narrow pike
#

you cant do that?

fervent crow
#

no

glass hemlock
#

im not gettin medical w beatboxing

fervent crow
#

its not a normal thing to do-

glass hemlock
#

ill jus do weird noises until i get it

narrow pike
#

for a fact ik my grandpa can do it

#

dont get outdone by my gramps

fervent crow
#

ya no i litterally cant

glass hemlock
fervent crow
#

i have so little purpousful epiglottis control

glass hemlock
#

my little brother could 90° tongue roll azel style when he was 6

#

i have no idea how

fervent crow
#

i can almost do a 180

glass hemlock
#

i cant even do that myself

#

a literal prodigy in the making and he refuses to let me teach him

fervent crow
#

i think im at a 160 degree roll rn

glass hemlock
#

i cant even do a regular

glass hemlock
#

i can barely clickroll lmao

glass hemlock
fervent crow
#

clickrolls are tough

narrow pike
#

damn ight

fervent crow
#

took ages for me to get it, longer to be able to use it

glass hemlock
#

i can click roll fine

#

I just cant use it in beats

narrow pike
#

ion do clickrolls tongue too fat for it to be fast

fervent crow
#

yup, took ages for me to do that

glass hemlock
#

The way I do mine, i gotta shove my tongue down the back of my throat

#

Like touching soft pallette

fervent crow
#

i cant6 do hiss combos, or any asian combos

glass hemlock
#

cant get it there fast enough after percussion

fervent crow
glass hemlock
#

ew wtf i just tongue touched my uvula

glass hemlock
fervent crow
#

yup, ive done that a bit

glass hemlock
#

its weirdly high pitched

#

like im putting my tongue that far back for no reason, and im using a completely different part of it to actually do the roll

fervent crow
#

anyways i gotta stream

narrow pike
#

alien bruh

random tundra
glass hemlock
#

i got mad throat

#

pause

glass hemlock
#

😭

narrow pike
#

legendary image

glass hemlock
#

im tryna unlearn my inward k

#

so i can do the helium inward k as my default

#

shits pissing me off

random tundra
narrow pike
#

no air can be a burden sometimes

#

especially when trying to do ks with basses

random tundra
narrow pike
#

or peh k

#

prolonged rimshot

glass hemlock
#

if u extend the duck sound, it can be done w air

#

He does his without air tho afaik

random tundra
#

I can do inward k without air in 2 different positions

#

But idk if it's his snare or not

random tundra
narrow pike
#

atm im struggling with actually breathing in fast cus my cheek just gets stuck against my tongue

glass hemlock
#

Weirdly enough i cant do a rimshot

random tundra
#

Never got that

glass hemlock
fervent crow
random tundra
#

Ah

#

So yeah it's what I'm doing

#

Really like this snare

fervent crow
#

i use it a fair bit

glass hemlock
#

i can only get it out during fast tkks

#

cant do it normally tho

random tundra
#

That's weird

fervent crow
#

i can do it normally fairly easily

#

and loudly

random tundra
#

I got it trying to mix inward k with throat kick

#

Worked really well

glass hemlock
#

oh yeah i get it with inward bass too

random tundra
glass hemlock
#

someone tried telling me my inward bass was evil bass

random tundra
#

Similar position to my duck sound

random tundra
glass hemlock
#

what

#

😭

random tundra
#

Most inward basses are inward evil

#

Yeah

#

Lmao

glass hemlock
#

wait wdym

random tundra
#

@fervent crow explain it to him

fervent crow
#

most inward basses are litterally inward evil bass

#

same muscle

glass hemlock
#

oh

#

now i feel like an idoot

#

youve heard my inward i think

fervent crow
#

theres evil textured inward bass, where it can sound like an outward evil bass

#

for example immortal

random tundra
#

Ye

#

I can do that too

fervent crow
#

i cant

#

i only just got outward evil down

random tundra
#

BUT I CANT GET REGULSR EVIL BASS

#

AAAHH

glass hemlock
#

i barely got throat bass man

#

😭

fervent crow
#

i cannot get chest bass of any sort

random tundra
#

Yeah throat bass was hard for me too

fervent crow
#

i got throat bass in a day

random tundra
#

Damn

fervent crow
#

after i learned i was doing constricted singing

random tundra
#

I got chest bass in a day

#

HAHA

glass hemlock
fervent crow
#

it helps that i was doing "Steve-o" voice for most of my childhood

glass hemlock
#

semi old inward

random tundra
glass hemlock
#

i can get it louder and more metallicy

#

takes a weird head position

#

this my default tho

random tundra
#

Noice

#

My normal inward is really relaxed

#

I like it

glass hemlock
#

i can do diff ones

#

but this is my most natural

random tundra
#

Me too

#

Yeye

glass hemlock
#

i feel like i got opposite issues to most lmao

random tundra
#

Normally the most natural is the first one u got

glass hemlock
#

all the weird funky sounds come natural or i alr had them

#

but my drums and 'basic' things are ass

random tundra
#

Damm

#

Damn

#

Atleast these kinda of sound is easier to learn and practice

glass hemlock
#

like inward bass i alr had

random tundra
#

No way lmao

glass hemlock
#

Not like this tho

#

It was horrible back then

random tundra
#

Yeye

glass hemlock
#

i used it to freak ppl out on calls

#

my weird chirp thing i alr had

#

zippers i had

random tundra
#

I remember getting the 3 basics sounds before actually getting into beatbox because of how much I would pay attention to drums on music

#

So I had like

#

Kick, pf snare and hihat

#

This saved me ALOT of time

glass hemlock
#

i dont listen to music often so that typa stuff is hard for me

random tundra
glass hemlock
#

getting patterns and rhythms i struggle w too

random tundra
glass hemlock
#

almost 2 months into beatboxing, ive learned that no matter how many sounds i got, it means buns if i cant string them

random tundra
#

Ye

random tundra
#

Helps alot with structure

#

And to get inspiration

glass hemlock
#

im just not a music kinda guy tbh

random tundra
#

Be one

#

It worths

glass hemlock
#

😭

#

even if i was one

random tundra
#

Music is just too good man

glass hemlock
#

It wouldnt really translate

random tundra
#

It can

glass hemlock
#

i have a playlist that i open maybe twice a year

random tundra
#

WTF HOW

glass hemlock
#

wym

random tundra
#

I have like

#

20+ playlists and listen most of them through my day

glass hemlock

Or vibe I want

glass hemlock
#

yeau again, i just dont really listen to music

#

i remember when everyone was getting their spotify wrapped lmao

fervent crow
#

i have like one playlist with 50 sonds

glass hemlock
#

thought id check mine, they literally said 'no, there's not enough info to work with'

fervent crow
#

cause im super picky

glass hemlock
#

i listened to maybe 2 songs last year

random tundra
#

Almost any thing that make notes I'm hearing

glass hemlock
#

I just dont like having one of my senses occupied

fervent crow
#

she likes dissonance cause she finds it interesting

random tundra
#

But im on a crazy Brazilian shoegaze addiction rn ngl

#

Shoegaze band from here ARE TOO GOOD

glass hemlock
#

im fine w the sounds of wind and my weird buzzing lightbulb

random tundra
#

Next step is introducing her to microtonal music

#

Lmao

fervent crow
#

aphex twin is a decent one for that lol, or aphix... dont remember

#

old experimentalist

random tundra
#

It's aphex

random tundra
fervent crow
#

ah kk

glass hemlock
#

also u guys seem like music nerds

random tundra
#

I already have heard his discography

#

Really good

glass hemlock
#

is there any info about the band called arnakia

fervent crow
#

i like music, but not a full nerd bout it

glass hemlock
#

i heard it once but i couldnt find basically anything

fervent crow
#

nerd about anything vocal

random tundra
glass hemlock
#

As in like video wise

random tundra
#

But at some point I'm became one from how much I listen to

glass hemlock
#

just old crowd recordings from concerts in russia

random tundra
#

Let me search it up rq

glass hemlock
#

ola einai fantasmata is the song i remember

#

i liked it

#

I think i have it in my playlist

random tundra
#

Ye never heard it

#

But I like it

glass hemlock
#

from what i can find

random tundra
#

And the album pic is familiar smh

glass hemlock
#

buried 80s greek band

#

practically unknown now

random tundra
#

Damn

glass hemlock
#

any info i can find on it is before 2009

random tundra
#

Damn

glass hemlock
#

wait nvm i google fu'd my way into a recent concert vid in 2018

#

i am amazing

#

random tundra
#

LMAO

#

I liked it

#

Just listened the full song

fervent crow
#

its still funny, besides skrillex, my playlist only has like one semi consistant band

#

as in they have 3 songs

#

(well, besides skrillex and killaheadz)

random tundra
#

Lmao

#

I'm with 42 playlist rn

#

Lmao

#

There's a bunch of stuff

fervent crow
#

lol

#

i can dm you my playlist

random tundra
#

Ye

#

Send me

#

I will hear it

random tundra
zinc laurel
#

I ate greek yogurt after doing some inward bass, and threw up. Do you guys have this happen?

fervent crow
#

Probs vause of phlegm

narrow pike
#

ye milk shi makes your throat slimy ash

fervent crow
#

Then theres my friend octo where.milk helps him more than water-

#

And he does an inward thats basically a mix between den inward and inertia inward-

narrow pike
#

greek yoghurt has very high lactic acid content tho iirc and thats like the primary culprit

fervent crow
#

Ya

random tundra
glass hemlock
#

if i try to go too low w inward bass I just end up gagging

#

so yeah probably

stuck stump
#

I feel like I’m not really making progress with trying to learn inward bass

#

Maybe I’m doing something wrong

#

Cause it’s been like 3 months and I’m still stuck at that weird zombie sound

#

I watched a ton of yt tutorials also but idk

glass hemlock
#

weird zombie sound is a good start

#

ik it sounds like 'oh yea just do this', but play around w ur throat and try get the pinch feeling to go lower and lower until u get it

narrow pike
#

depends cus technically the lowest point are your vocal cords which you dont want

#

but generally trying different heights will at least yield something

random tundra
#

then the vibration got bigger and boom inward bass

glass hemlock
#

^ same

#

reposting this

#

just gotta play around w it till it clicks

stuck stump
glass hemlock
#

then u can start messing w textures

stuck stump
#

Alr

random tundra
#

to this thing work, u weird zombie sound has the be the inward bass vibration, if ur doing something u interpret as a weird zombie sound with the incorrect muscle it will not be inward bass

glass hemlock
#

can anyone tell me what i just did

#

was practicing my duck scratches

#

tongue went to the side and I got this weird sound

#

just the tip tho, rest of tongue is normal duck position

stuck stump
#

Do you think not drinking enough water could slow down my progress

random tundra
#

I dont think so

narrow pike
random tundra
#

@narrow pike just found out a way to get that same poly chest neck position thing without tilting it

narrow pike
#

wdym neck position without tilting

random tundra
#

Like

#

That weird ass muscle thing

#

U tight it and ur neck kinda pop off

#

But it's not so much effective than just tilting neck

narrow pike
#

yee

random tundra
#

And idk why but sometimes I get the thing wrong and I just change my eppiglotis posture instead of doing it lol

narrow pike
#

like i dont know if this is exactly how it works since im not comfortable getting my endoscope behind my epiglottis yet but i think tilting your neck benefits the cuneiform thats drumming while the muscle thing benefits the one thats more rubbing so by now i tilt my neck to one side and do the muscle thing on the other which has greatly helped me with control and loudness

random tundra
#

That's interesting

narrow pike
#

but its like the most straining way to control it

#

i can hold it for maybe a total of 30 minutes a day atm but after that my muscles are just too fatigued to get anything nice anymore

#

they should patch that shi fr

#

but that way I can actually somewhat layer it with poly sub

#

which sounds deadly imma be real

tidal quartz
#

does someone know how to false cord scream?

#

or fry scream

#

as in evil bass

#

or smth

#

or extreme metal vocals

#

as in gutturals or smth

narrow pike
#

i dont think anyone here really does any of those tbh

#

iirc like 1 of those consists of just lowering the larynx to increase deep resonance, apart from that i dont even know the anatomy involved

glass hemlock
#

Best way to describe it in beatbox terms

#

just a really tight chest bass

#

do it w the soft pallete if you want the flappy flappys

fervent crow
stuck stump
#

If I like tighten my vcb/throat bass (I really can’t tell which one it is) as much as I can I start making this sound, what is this sound?

fervent crow
#

Sounds like it looses alot.of its vocalization

random tundra
#

completely different muscles

fervent crow
#

ya

#

thats just either tight chest bass or evil bass lol

random tundra
#

kinda works, but I don't think its the better way to get it

#

and I can't do this consistently

#

got it 1 or 2 times only

#

@fervent crow how I should harmonize vocal fry with inward bass to get textured inward?

fervent crow
#

idk tbh, i just do it and they work themselves out

random tundra
#

lmao

#

u add inward on the vocal fry or u do the opposite?

fervent crow
fervent crow
#

sometimes i find it easier to add inward ontp of fry

random tundra
#

hm ok

#

is this it?

#

sounds different to my normal inward

fervent crow
#

yes, i can very faintly hear the fry

random tundra
#

ooooh

#

its actually not that hard

fervent crow
#

no

random tundra
#

I remember me struggling to make this work a couple months ago lol

fervent crow
#

lol

random tundra
#

sounds way different tto my normal inward

#

cool

fervent crow
#

and you can do different inward textures ontop of it

random tundra
#

like

#

do swallow inward with fry and other stuff like that?

fervent crow
#

you can

#

swallow would be harder

random tundra
fervent crow
random tundra
fervent crow
#

ya

random tundra
#

with normal inward it better

#

actually I think ive been doing this without knowing lmao

random tundra
# random tundra

sometimes when I try to pitch my inward bass I get a texture like this

#

same feeling as well

#

but never got it that low

#

this texture sounds good as hell

#

makes a little extra texture on normal inward

fervent crow
#

textured inward B)

#

lol

random tundra
#

yeah lol

fervent crow
#

technically not what it means but oh well

#

oh yea, idk if i sent the updated this here

random tundra
#

still not understand how crythix bass is not considered a normal poly chest ngl

fervent crow
#

its... gah i would love to explain why

#

i guess the one hint i give is... yk how we were talking about how inward false folds is technically conceptually different from inward throat bass?

random tundra
#

aaaaah

#

no

#

lmao

fervent crow
#

or how even tho its the same muscles, we consider constricted singing different from throat bass

#

?

random tundra
#

ye

#

constricted singing is more like a texture while throat bass is a bass

fervent crow
#

mhm

#

thats my hint

#

lol

random tundra
#

DAMN

random tundra
random tundra
wooden cedar
#

i mean i get the concept of it(i think, not 100%) from that but im ngl i havent heard crythix bass in quite some time and also im lacking in my ability to do poly chest

#

maybe this semester ill be able to focus on this a little more, summer semester i took 2 more classes than i should have and that resulted in no free time whatsoever

#

anyway last time i asked about poly chest i was told a high and low chest bass at the same time?? i still dont get that like wdym high chest bass vs low chest bass, or is it just going to be desynchronized movement of the muscle which is used?

narrow pike
#

left and right

random tundra
#

ye its the 2 cuneiforms vibrating at the same time

narrow pike
#

cuneiform cartilages oscillating desynchronized

wooden cedar
narrow pike
#

i mean in the end it will result in a high and low tone but its not as easy as just saying do high and low at the same times as that is not the cause for the sound but rather the result

random tundra
#

high and low at the same time also means its unsychronized

random tundra
#

nah inward + fry is low af

#

I gotta get good at this

narrow pike
#

thing is commonly chest bass is done with just one cuneiform so you gotta find a way to activate the other one

#

imo the easiest way is trying to tilt your head in multiple different ways until you find something

random tundra
#

ye

#

u need to make space so the other cuneiform vibrates too

wooden cedar
#

ok ty

narrow pike
#

at least how i emulate it

#

i used to interpret it as jayton voice arytenoid position but its slightly different cus arytenoid movement is largely medially rotational

#

cuz the cuneiforms are located on the corniculates in a branch like way

#

i discussed this a little with kindred and he agrees that this is at least plausible

gusty iron
#

name of outward sound he does after those liprolls?

glass hemlock
#

i can definitely do a decent variety of metal screams tho

random tundra
#

@fervent crow, if inward + fry isn't textured inward, wtf is textured inward?

fervent crow
#

just inward

#

with a different texture

#

lmao

#

thats the mass definition

#

so kingdom inward, dropical inward, dlow inward, remix inward

random tundra
#

ah ok it's literally the name of it lmao

random tundra
#

I thought it was somekind of chest bass

fervent crow
#

he does inward alot

#

kingdom bass tho ive heard is evil + evil uvula

random tundra
#

wait I don't think we are talking about the same thing

fervent crow
#

i was talking about his inward in my first messaged

#

then i mentioned the bass you were thinking of is kingdom bass, being evil + uvula

random tundra
fervent crow
#

probs

#

idk i dont listen to kingdom

#

was just pressured by people to teach the bass

random tundra
random tundra
fervent crow
#

ya that one

#

at first i thought it was evil inward evil

#

(evil textured inward evil bass

random tundra
#

why I can't hear uvula on it

#

Lol

fervent crow
#

i can

#

evil uvula can sometimes be hard to tell

#

but the texture is there

random tundra
fervent crow
stuck stump
# stuck stump Yeah

I tried following a hardbass tutorial but it doesn’t sound like hardbass or evil bass so idk

random tundra
#

I'm used to hear uvula sounds having kinda a plastic clicking noise on it

fervent crow
#

recently my evil uvula has changed

#

more like a hard bass

random tundra
#

Damn

#

But ur evil uvula doesn't use actual evil bass, right?

fervent crow
#

no

random tundra
#

Ye that's crazy lmao

random tundra
fervent crow
#

that

stuck stump
random tundra
#

Lol

fervent crow
#

near the end is what i prefure

random tundra
#

But when he does that insanely low brueee sound I just can't lmao

fervent crow
#

tbh wouldnt be suprirsed if he did something simular to evil monke bass for it

#

for the falsetto part

random tundra
#

Can u do his bass?

stuck stump
fervent crow
#

i need my evil to be warmed up before trying

random tundra
# fervent crow

I don't understand how ur uvula don't explode when u do this

fervent crow
stuck stump
#

Damn what

#

How

#

What does it like

#

Feel like

fervent crow
#

1:17 is my perfect texture that hardly sounds uvula

random tundra
fervent crow
stuck stump
#

I would expect dlow to get his injury from that sound LOL

stuck stump
fervent crow
#

its a pretty consistant oscillation, thats the big thing

stuck stump
#

Mmm

#

Are you using a lot of air or only a little

#

And also is it really tight

fervent crow
#

this was an older recording with my clicky texture

fervent crow
fervent crow
#

slightly less then throat bass

#

but not like 8th subharmonic vocal bass amounts

stuck stump
#

I see

fervent crow
#

hard to explain

#

but its where it can still be lowered and loosened, but keeps its grimey texture

stuck stump
#

Damn

#

Uh

#

Hmm

#

Tutorial please 😭

#

I wanna learn that sound

#

Sounds cool

fervent crow
#

i will say as a warning

#

i have over 10 years of experience doing uvula sound

#

my uvula probably is not normal

#

nor is my soft pallet

#

you will likely throw up

#

and if you go right for it, you may have some uvula in said throw up

#

so train normal uvula bass alot

#

and snore bas

#

snore bass is the closest to the intensity

stuck stump
#

Idk cause usually my uvula bass sounds like this

fervent crow
#

snore bass's name is funny, cause its such a simple name, for probs one of the most convoluted legal names

fervent crow
stuck stump
#

Even without like

#

Beatboxing

stuck stump
#

Cause I always make random noises for no reason 💀

wooden cedar
stuck stump
fervent crow
#

OR, if you go with the original name of uvula bass before i changed it

stuck stump
fervent crow
#

reverse dual projected inward nasal uvular oscillations

#

reverse dual projection means instead of doing a sound through both the nose and mouth, you breath in through both the nose and mouth

stuck stump
#

“Oh what is that sound? What is it called” “oh yeah I’m just doing reverse dual projected inward nasal uvular oscillations pretty easy”

fervent crow
#

and it is easy!

stuck stump
#

Idk what my snore bass is supposed to sound like but it sounds more like a pig rn LOL

fervent crow
random tundra
#

I still don't understand how to get dual projection on any sound

#

I can do snore bass but like

#

That's an exception

fervent crow
#

cant do it how me and codfish can

stuck stump
