Anything helps
someone someday should compile a "how to get started" list of suggestions bc there really is a ton of helpful content out there nowadays and I honestly don't know the best place to begin. all I will say is if you stay dedicated to bbx you'll probably become obsessed with learning new sounds like most ppl do and that's great it's always fun to learn new sounds but if you're going to take bbx seriously and perform or compete, you should make sure you always practice your basics - kick, snare, hihat, basic tech patterns like tkK, bdb, pehK. and practice TEMPO. this is huge and developing a good internal beat will be the basis of coming up with new beats and routines, freestyling, and in general sounding good rather than just a jumble of weird sounds. so you should totally take advice from many ppl but my advice is to work on your basics as I listed above. feel free to dm me any questions!
