#Implications of Voima being a dream

Iโ€™m pretty sure this is something thats already a thing in the game to an extent, what Iโ€™m specifically proposing is a slightly bigger emphasis on this in the game itself. I personally think that adding small details that suggest this could make the game make more sense without really changing anything.

I feel like implying that karhula takes place within a dream in game would compliment its surreal aesthetic, with a tradeoff of it possibly making the games nature feel slightly less mysterious.

I donโ€™t think that the game should necessarily lean heavily towards this approach, but I think little changes like renaming creative mode to โ€œLucid Modeโ€ or something along those lines and other small tweaks could create a more grounded atmosphere for the game that would also set it apart from Minecraft.

This has sort of been my interpretation of Voima since I first discovered it. I donโ€™t really remember if this is explicitly stated anywhere already (Iโ€™d probably look pretty dumb if it is), but its an interpretation thats hard to put into words. My brainโ€™s explanation for the game has always been โ€œthis is a dreamโ€ and for me it adds meaning to the games aesthetic.

This interpretation is also what influences the music i write for the game, I try to aim for a lullaby style for this reason!

But either way, I moreso just wanted to share how I interpret the games aesthetic, I think the beauty on having things not be explicitly stated is having people come up with their own interpretations, art is something that should make the audience think, which is definitely something this game has achieved for me.
