How do we like this?
This is my concept design of the human in my AU aka Feli/Felicitas aka the mom ( whatever you might call her). I had this vision while I was sleeping in my head, soo I decided to draw it before I forget it completely
Concept Explanation:
For a long time, I knew the human in my Undertale AU could not be Frisk ,no matter how many alternative versions I drew,it just never felt…good or fitting. The idea of creating my own human had lived in my mind for years, someone like Kris or Frisk in purpose, but original in existence. My AU leans heavily into medieval and medieval-fantasy elements, and that led me to question something I see often: the same nations inspo, the same inspirations, repeated endlessly especially in fantasy royalty. After watching a tiktok discussion that pointed these things out it kind of stuck with me, I realized I wanted to do something different.
The only character in this AU with a clear country inspiration had been my other OC, Vera. (an unintroduced skelli oc)
So I asked myself: why not the human too?. So here is my Oc and Persona Feli/Felicitas
Feli is inspired by a culture that is rarely represented in medieval fantasy. At her side is obv a horse …a small easter egg ..named Charlotka/Chara, or something close enough to be noticed by those who look twice. Its saddle and halter bear Determination soul motifs. The color red is no coincidence; through cultural symbolism and research, it stands for determination, strength, and victory. And as we know in the game it carries the same values with the soul soooo. It felt right, not only for the themes of my Undertale AU, but for what Feli herself stands for.
