I don’t know how to ask for things but could ask your job to pay for a nice chair?

you can ask, esp if they jave a history of giving out covid/wfh expenses or whatever

maybe ask a team member if you are allowed to expense wfh equipment

or if they have done it any time recently

but i obv wouldnt get ur hopes up too high with how much they are willing to expense if they do allow it

esp since nobody knows what a “nice” chair is in your books

so i wouldnt drop your jaw in shock if u try to ask for like some $1000 chair and they say no

Ask if there is a work from home equipment reimbursement policy

Generally if there is, you get a set amount that you can decide how you want to spend (among approved categories)
