why did you take a gap
ime no
I was going through a stressful situation outside of work, and I knew that if I wanted to be at my best, I had to go away and handle it first.
Thanks!
everyone has reasons, for the far off chance they do ask, there ya go
but I don’t think they will
Generally it should be fine. Especially because you didn’t get fired. But with junior engineers in general sometimes the YOE criteria is tighter, it’s best to not have huge gaps in you can help it. Of course some personal situations can be a good reason to take breaks. Hopefully after you jump back in you won’t have to take any more time off. Also I’d recommend going for Full-time positions rather than contract if possible. You will have a lot more attention given to your job satisfaction and growth by your manager because you’re more permanent compared to a contractor.
