Hi,

I am finding it difficult getting another job.

My first job out of university was working for TCS. Staffing company, it was a rather poor experience and I stayed a year. I was not learning or doing anything at all. I was basically just another body to make money on and the management was poor and uncaring. So I left to find an opportunity to get some proper experience.

It has been a few months now. I cannot get another job or opportunity. At first I thought it was my resume. So I paid a professional service to clean it up and make it presentable for future applications. This helped a little, I managed to get a few interviews but usually during the process I seem to get overlooked for more experienced applicants.

Does anyone have advice on how to navigate this situation? I feel lost and unsure about what skills I do have.

Okay well not gonna lie I wouldn’t expect the paid service to do much for you but maybe I’m wrong

The companies typically either go with another applicant. Or my skills are not satisfactory during the round of technical interviews.

I guess for the time being, my worry is that being unable to get another job will look poorly on my part.

And always try to take notes and understand why you didn’t pass an interview

Yeah there are great people who have solid advice on tech resumes in that channel

And very experienced people

Or people have who have been where you are
