I am a sophomore currently doing an summer SWE internship with option to continue this internship during academic year as well. I also have an student web developer position on campus for another semester so I'm deciding which of these I should take. Im thinking maybe the student web dev one would be beneficial in some sense because it would be a second job experience on my resume. Trust me I really have nothing on my resume. So is it good to have a long internship experience at the single company or move to a different one just for the sake of having 2 jobs on my resume

The pay for my SWE internship is almost 2.5x than the Student Web dev one. (I'm trying to think without keeping the money on my mind though)
I am friends with a SWE that is in the hiring process for his company. I asked him that exact same question for myself and he said:
"I would rather see a single long internship than two, whenever I see a short 1 month or a summer only internship I wonder if they had enough time to learn anything at all. I didn't learn that much in the first couple months of my internship"
I am not really a recruiter but imo it takes at least 2-4 weeks to ramp up on internal code and tools, most internships are usually 12 weeks which i think is a reasonable amount of time to get a small project done. 6 months is nicer because you have a chance of working on a higher impact project(although not always the case)
it's nice to have different internships, not for the cv, but for you to know what is out there, and to network
and cv doesn't really matter
