Hey what do you guys think of my resume? I also have my resume site https://huement.github.io/iRock that I would love some feedback on as well. If you all could give me some advice, Im really trying anything and everything to land my dream job (which is currently any job).

Thanks!

It looks aesthetically pleasing but it doesn't meet standards for resume. I (think) this style is good for a UI/design resume, just not for dev. checkout the pinned thread in this channel

#

remember, the first line of defense (recruiter) who reads this will skim your resume quickly before moving it on to the next stage.

I'll give you some critique

#

first image: don't do this
resume in general: very very very distracting, the recruiter wants to see content and your qualifications rather than most of the stuff mentioned.

#

so like i have a job position for a full-stack swe:
qualifications:

  1. has degree
  2. has work experience
  3. qualified in using programming langauge XYZ
  4. Worked with API/Front/Back/etc

i can tell these from experience or projects, the "technical skills" section means nothing to me
4. summary section is unnecessary unless you're switching fields or moving to a different area.

#

this is the real meat that the person skimming the resume wants to see

#

which is hard to find given it's not in bullet point format and is listed in an informal and descriptive

#

this doesn't look like a letterpaper sized page.. stick to that
