Hi all,
Looking for feedback on my CV. I’ve been applying to internships and junior backend/cloud roles in Germany but haven’t been getting interview calls.
Background
2 years total experience in India before being laid off (mainly frontend with React).
Currently pursuing a Master’s in Software Engineering in Bavaria (started Oct 2024).
Pivoting to backend and/or Cloud, and DevOps engineering.
Target roles
Mandatory internship (Sep/Oct 2025 start), ideally backend, DevOps, or software engineering.
Open to roles across Germany/EU, on-site or remote.
Job hunt situation
Applying via LinkedIn, StepStone, and Xing.
Only rejections, no interviews.
Challenges
My experience is frontend-heavy, but I want to highlight backend/cloud skills.
Unsure if my CV is balanced well or formatted properly for the German job market.
Looking for feedback on
Whether my CV effectively shows backend/cloud potential.
Any sections to cut/expand.
Formatting/ATS tips specific to Germany.
