Recently back on the job market with alot more years of exp vs last time. Its been a while since I've done interviews and I vividly remember that technical and coding interviews were probably the most challenging part or ptsd inducing part of it lol . Being great at the job is no indicator of passing these.

So my question is how do they change with seniors and more experienced engineers ?

In general: more focus on system design

Higher focus on system design (expect 1-2 interviews) that go pretty in depth. Also behavioral matters a lot more. (how you handle leading projects, dealing with SEVs, training new members, etc).
