Since you've done Java, I would lean on that. Frontend has so much noise and you might be lost in the noise. There are applicants from Bootcamps so that definitely inflates the applicant pool. HR has to sift through a bunch of applications. I'm sorry that it's been such a long search for you.

the linkedin number doesnt correlate to how many people actually applied for the job. From what I know, it just means that many people clicked on the link but who knows how jany actually submitted the application AND were qualified
sure, not denying that part. Just trying to make a point that dont let the linkedin number deter you from applying to job (if it was before). Just apply anyway (if you werent already)
