you can theoretically shift to any job you want. Just apply to some other ones and see what they say 🤷🏾♀️ you may need to make a project or two in the desired languages but look at some JDs for other jobs and see what tickles your fancy

Since you've done Java, I would lean on that. Frontend has so much noise and you might be lost in the noise. There are applicants from Bootcamps so that definitely inflates the applicant pool. HR has to sift through a bunch of applications. I'm sorry that it's been such a long search for you.

the linkedin number doesnt correlate to how many people actually applied for the job. From what I know, it just means that many people clicked on the link but who knows how jany actually submitted the application AND were qualified
