hmm im not completely convinced that #983387745441435688 isnt enough. What are you envisioning thats different than what that channel already does? i was also a bit confused as to the “complaint” of “they end up becoming their own chatrooms.” whats wrong with that?

More like a text chat channel instead of threads based. (Not sure the terminology).
It wasn't a complaint just an example of demand. The threads people make are personal blogs but sometimes a lot of people join a thread if they can relate and share their own stories. I feel like that's a case for there being an open chat for that sort of thing.
