Hi everyone, I’m currently a Computer Science student with a passion for AI. I’ve recently received two job offers, and I’m unsure which one will better set me up for a future in AI. Here’s a quick rundown:
Job Offer 1:
Role: Programming plug-in interfaces using C# and WPF.
Tasks: Supporting the team with model transformations, testing, and automating the generation of model components from data sources (XML, JSON, Excel, databases, web services).
Job Offer 2:
Role: Developing software to collect data from measurement devices and displaying it in an app for users.
Tasks: Involves C# and .Net, plus full involvement in the entire development process—from concept to delivery and customer handover. I’d also get to work on various exciting projects with different technologies.
In your opinion, which job can an IT student learn the most valuable skills for an AI career? If it were you, which offer would you choose? I would love to hear your thoughts, especially from those with AI experience!
Thanks in advance for your advice! 🙏
