#Is this job worth it?

Sounds like you need to choose between the options of taking this 55k/year job or keep searching.
You can base your decision on whether or not you would like to do the work. Does the job seem like something you would enjoy and could excel at? Is there a lot for you to learn?
For example, if you want to be an embedded systems dev and the job is for front end web development, then probably don’t take it. But if it’s closely aligned enough for what you want to become, then it’s probably a good move to take the job.
As far as salary goes: can you survive on the salary they are offering? If not, you can ask them for enough money to cover your cost of living. If you can survive on the salary and support your lifestyle, then there’s no reason not to take the job. At entry level, you would rather have a 50k job now rather than waiting a year or two for a 150k job that may or may not appear. After picking up a year or two of experience you will be better positioned to increase your salary
