#Gap in my resume with only 1 year of prior experience in the field; should I try to fill it?

Graduated with my BS in CS in 2021, no internships, worked as a data engineer for ~1yr when my dad died. I quit as a result because my mom could not manage his small business alone, so that's what I've been assisting with for about a year.

None of the work I've been doing relates to CS or tech at all, I've mostly been handling paperwork, estate stuff, calling customer support lines for hours and hours, a few communications with clients/banks/etc.

I have very little work history if I don't include this, but I have no clue how to spin it on a resume. Besides my year as a DE, all I've got is some undergraduate TAing.

My apprehensions are also in part because it's a family business, and I'm not employed/receiving income; I just live w/ my family & have no bills...
