#$100k job offer, two days a week in the office, 3 hour commute (roundtrip)

Also I was doing that five days a week. But also much of it was on a train, which is much less tiring than driving.
You’ll have to wake up at 6:30 AM probably, so you can leave by 7 to try to get there by 9:00 AM. Once you get off at 5, you’ll be driving home until almost 7:00, at which point you’ll have to cook/make dinner, clean, and probably shower. Doing your daily chores will take you an hour or two on most days, meaning you’ll be done for the day at around 8:30 or 9:00. If you want 8 hours of sleep you’ll need to be in bed by 10:30 or so
Because it’s only twice a week you can probably get away with not doing many/any chores on days you work in-office, so you might be looking at 3 hours of free time or so a day
If that sounds doable, I say take it! 🙂
Are you driving or taking public transport? 2 days a week in office isn't too bad. I used to have a 4 hour round trip commute 5 days a week before the pandemic and I actually didn't mind it. I got used to it but I was taking the train so I could relax while traveling.
