I'm currently preparing for a senior software engineer interview for an internal team change at Microsoft, and I could use some guidance. 🤔
For those experienced with internal transfers, should I concentrate on studying data structure problems and system design questions, just like how we prepare for external job applications? 📚

I have never heard of a team using data structure problems for internal transfer interviews.

Mostly, teams assume you are talented enough for the company, because you are already hired. And the question is more about skills that are needed for the team specifically.

And team fit.
