At a basic level network+, security+ is what you will see most jobs ask for. It's not an entry level field though so most do expect you have worked in some type of tech field (yes internships count).
For education I've seen people with no formal education get hired and I've seen people get denied too since HR loves to have that degree check box. Met quite a few that have masters but they have experience in the field (some programs actually won't even admit you without 2-3 yrs in the tech industry)
But cybersecurity is vast so it's hard to say what exactly you should have since we don't know what you want to do. For example, a pen tester isn't going to have the same requirements as an engineer or ops job and so on.
