i would not take a technical writer role if ur looking to be a swe

i dont understand how taking a swe internship is diminishing gains when the alternative is a role where u will do pretty much 0 development

ur fulltime in school tho right? im not tooooo sure what more ur expecting in terms of that. Either way my comment still stands, i think the gains are almost in the negatives for a technical writing position

Do you have a pulse on how your current company (team, leadership, etc.) views you and your prior / current contributions? I don't claim that it's common per se, but I've had prior success asking about change of project / role / responsibility for a repeat internship.
