nice work redoing the formatting!! looks way cleaner
you’re going to need to more projects though. Maybe just one more? at least?
can reword first bullet of golf project
- Collaborated with X other developers to create a mock golfing website, using HTML, and CSS.
- Implemented account creation, authentication, food and drink ordering, and host/join tournaments using Django and SQLite.
- Leveraged Agile and Scrum methodologies to ensure deadlines were being met and tracked progress and requirements using Trello.
your cyber internship exp's bullet points are really fluffy
I described what I did at the internship lol. Idk how to condense it anymore than that
I unfortunately don't have a lot of quantitative information I can put on there
Honestly, that place was a mess. They barely gave me any work to do
But it's better than no internship, right?
Man i'm so screwed
I might just give up on CS
what a waste of a degree
I thought the whole point of a degree was that it proved you have some level of competence
Ok sorry for being so pessimistic. I'll incorporate what you guys said in my resume
How can I better describe my internship experience? I really didn't do that much there. I probably had about 5 hours of work a week on average
I did find it pretty interesting, but my supervisor was pretty distracted and didn't really have much time to find stuff for me and the other interns to do
i think theres some misconception that once you get a degree you will automatically have a job😅 which i think has been perpetuated by media and the tech boom back in like 2019-2020
i dont thijk theres a way to better describe the experience if u didnt do anything lol cus what r u gonna say about it
just need to create good projects that will showcase software skills
having shitty internship doesnt really mean anything though, shit happens
i got fired from an internship back in 2020😭 i bounced back fine tho, got a full time job now and an internship st a big N shortly after getting fired
Well, thankfully I'll have a ton of free time once I graduate in 3 days and move to a new place, so I'm going to get to working on some projects. I really need to brush up on web dev since I've mostly been using python and java for the past 2 years. I'll try to make something interesting in javascript like a simple multiplayer game or something. Maybe I can try to do a full stack application for each language I know pretty well? Like a JavaScript + Node.js app, and then a Java + Spring app, and then a Python + Django app? Or maybe that's way too much. Maybe I should stick with JavaScript + Node.js
Also, glad to hear you were able to do okay after your internship. I feel like my internship is a dark mark on my resume or something lol
