I'm going to RailsConf 2023 and I want to be ready for the job fair.

I haven't had many callbacks these past 7 months, but luckily I've gotten two freelance gigs to put on my resume.

If there's anything I could do to polish it, it would be a huge help. I followed the pinned guide and made improvements a month ago, and I've been making minor adjustments since.

Thank you!

#

I added a ROR (Ruby on Rails) bullet point to list commonly used subskills in a Rails stack

inner silo
#

remove the random picture in the corner haha

#

or maybe its fine

#

if ur just going to be using this for in person

#

but if u were sending this out for jobs online then 100% remove that picture in the corner

#

maybe add months to these dates. unless u removed for anonymity purposes

#

not much substance to ur bullet points

#

would review the pinned post, theres a post in there by me that explains bullet points and how to best structure them

#

ur bullet points are also pretty tiny like font size wise and then the skills section is huge

#

would reduce the size of project titles / links, unnecessarily large

#

why does the second project have a date and then the first one doesnt

#

also a member of the dracula theme organization

  • this is a pretty random spot to put this at ? its barely noticeable
  • what reaction are u trying to achieve with mentioning that? only thing i can think of to be frank is.. so what?
