Hello, I'm getting out of the Air Force and I'm trying to take advantage of DOD Skill bridge which is a 6 month internship my last few months before leaving the military and transiation into Info Security/Information Technlology. I know while I'm not posting for an actual job I'm hoping people in the industry can help me tailor my resume to help get hiring a recruiters attention.

Im aware the format is kind of messed up but they are in alignment on the original resume
you need to put projects
remove summary
remove interests
Google Docs
RESUME ADVICE (SWE/SDE) This doc is to address common issues that are seen in resumes all in one document. We highly recommend you read through this and make changes accordingly before posting your resume in the resume-review channel! These tips are ones gathered from recruiters and SDE’s at all ...
Do you think it's a good idea to remove the summary since I'm trying to change careers and I don't have a lot of IT work in the since of working since Civil Air Patrol isn't a job per se or do think it's wasted space?
yeah its more wasted space than anything
like ofc if you apply to something u want the job, and you show your prev exp already
as you are changing jobs, thats why u need to switch towards tech skills rather than your airforce exp
Should I change the interests to projects or do you think that's section is pointless?
yeah u dont need an interest section
If your going specifically for IT then I would focus more on getting certs like A+, network+, etc. than projects
Yeah, this is mostly a CS server, so most of the advice will lean more towards software development / engineering - which is why the initial advice you got was “you need projects”
Not sure if ppl here can help with IT roles, those are a bit different. Sorry
