April 2024 grad looking for fall internships [canada]

i do have an offer for the summer but am not getting any interviews for the fall (even summer roles after editing out the incoming summer internship), im really hoping for something faang+/unicorns but applying everywhere (us and canada). im international in canada (and the us), no visa needed for working in canada.

as for my resume, i feel my projects are lackluster (2/3 are just university projects), and also the web dev role is quite weak and unimpactful, im gonna try to work on that in the summer and add more points. im also currently working as a computational research assistant so might have more refined, better points by the end of the winter, whats currently there is just the first thing that came to my mind.

would drop “winter 2023” courses. Doesnt really mean or do anything for anybody to say what u might be doing in the future

Debugged and fixed multiple bugs..

1. break this bullet into 2 , you talk about 2 completely different things here
2. the first half of this bullet is fairly vague. I would actually expand on maybe the biggest bug you found and fixed and just talk about that instead

can drop “anticipated graduation…” this is redundant and im sure recruiters will know what ur looking for depending on what u apply to

just distracting from the other stuff they should be looking at

im also generally not a fan of putting future internships on resumes because TO ME it doesnt really add anything until you actually start. TO ME it doesnt add anything cus then everybody would just put on their resume “incoming at XYZ”. But thats just my 2cent
