nobody knows how long it would take

#

especially in this economy

#

see if ur current job will let u get some experience using backend technologies, that would be the easiest and most convenient way

#

i would look up some job descriptions for full stack positions and see what common technologies they like candidates to have and go from there. Maybe choosing the most popular 1-2

#

make some@projects using said technologies

#

and if ur wanting to leave ur current job, then put those projects on the resume and get ur resume reviewed and start applying🤷🏾‍♀️

Try see if you can move around in your company.

I was gonna say that if you were in a startup, you may have better chance of leaking into backend development.

#

You should at least ask. There is value in having the frontend person also be super knowledgeable of what's going on in the backend.

would a half year of backend side projects..
ultimately nobody can give u a timeline or an answer for this. In theory it all sounds like its possible but nobody here would know in reality .
