I'm a new grad, and I've been at my current company for 7 months. I recently received an offer where salary is similar, but I think the work looks very interesting and cutting edge (at least from the outside). I'd definitely regret not taking this new opportunity, even if it doesn't turn out to be as glamorous as I expect it to be. Will this set my career back? I know it would probably increase the time it takes to get to SDE2 by half a year, maybe more.
