I was just overworked from school

What happens when you study mixed media

Documentaries, movies, journalism, comics, animation, graphic design etc

All while also having general studies

Nightmare

And then 3 years of 3D graphics now

Like i am motivated by the words of pretty much every artist, that if you wanna draw, simply go for it and draw what you wanna draw.

But its being clashed by a part of me thats like "ya cant draw humans well and do posing and anatomy, so id say limit ya self with the stuff ya wanna draw."

And another part of me is telling that other part to "screw you"

And that cycle repeats itself over and over, and nothing gets done in the long run

There is a fine line people tend to go by which is personal for health, fanart for views and commissions for money

I personally very rarely make fanart tho

I have a mix between personal projects art, and fanart

My main motivator being that I know if I stop I have nothing else to do in life

A good motivator for this imo is to redraw stuff you have done before, cuz every time you put your pen down you improve regardless

Obviously studying also helps a lot in this, but being able to train your eye into seeing improvements helps a lot on motivation

Unironically i relate to those artists that will draw a Mona Lisa level art piece and they will reply to it with "practice" "study art" or "doodle"

Even tho another part of me thinks they do it for clout
