Such as myself. Probably not going to get it tomorrow, since there's shipment time to consider.
Yeah, I've played a bit of the original and Journey with Arrowsden a while back, so this might work well to get things going again with the series.
This is going to be my first experience with the game once it out later today
The game is out now
@odd pelican got any tips for playing the game
Given the whole mix of Board Game and RPG that it is, quite a few tips of either genre would apply:
-Balance investing in your towns and in yourself. Town investment will help in recovering from a mishap while exploring (E.G. going in too deep and running into a too-powerful monster. or getting wrecked by another player because they could get a lot of money from a PvP victory against you) and will contribute to your final score, while investing in your own gear makes such mishaps less likely to happen (Better gear means you can take on more powerful opponents, and can save you from traps) and allow you to go deeper and find more valuable stuff.
-Generally, plan your next investment and make it as soon as possible. If you have a lot of cash on hand, and an opponent defeats you, they get a lot of it to use for themselves.
-Stealing from stores is an option to get a quick boost, but be careful with it: If you fail the check for it, you'll have a target on your back in the form of a lucrative bounty. While you have that, quite a few things are blocked off as well.
-Random events will happen every so often. Some of it is luck, and some offer choices. You'll learn to identify which choices are the right ones for the situation, even in some less random circumstances (E.G. between resting at an opponent's town or getting KOed because you're worn out, which would be more expensive?)
-Don't be afraid to mess with the other players when the opportunity presents itself. Set traps, steal monster kills, or go straight at them in PvP when appropriate. However, you should still judge when it's the right time and place to do it.
heya,still don't have the game 😦
How long does a week in the game last
Each turn is one day, so seven turns per week.
So what total number of weeks what I need to get to the one hour mark
Depends mostly on how quickly you play out your turns. Spending time shopping will extend things a bit, for example.
But I would estimate maybe 2-3 in-game weeks would be played.
Would anyone be good to play today?
Not coming here for another week and a half, at current estimate.
@rigid spruce I’m up for a game
Soon. Gonna have dinner in a bit -- tacos!
I can now play.

Ok I’ll keep that in mind now
Be honest. Bit surprised since you been in the thread for some time now
Kind of busy in other games, hence the late reply. If this is still happening, I might give it a go.
It a long term thing
Alright. So a couple of game weeks at a time.
Right. Going off the rails and all.
So you two up.
Standing by.
Start maybe next week Saturday/Sunday
Saturday and Sunday are generally my points of least availability. I can probably do early afternoon Saturday or later afternoon Sunday.
Why I said maybe
I also tend to be unavailable on Saturday and Sunday.
