I consider cooking to be an art in and itself, so I decided to open this neat little space.
I will post my own creations in here, feel free to post yours too!

I like to make cocktails as a little hobby of mine, as well as cook a bunch
Ill share a bunch of pics later down the line

I am not bad at cooking, but must admit I am very basic because I don't enjoy cooking most of the times. But since I live with an amazing woman who cooks some really good dishes, I shall share some pics of both hers and mine here every now and then

Anything can be culinary art

You can make a simple nutella sandwich look good, too

Cooking is just as much art as drawing or writing, imo
You can make a plain dish, giving you comfort or smth nice to eat
you can also make the very same dish but increase its (visual) quality by adding garnishes, or putting in some more technique - making the things fully yourself

or in other words

a simple beans on toast is as much art as me trying to draw a house

(im not good at drawing)

but this is just a notion to something I heard you say a while ago jet, in regards that art is art, no matter how good you are at it

It was 20€, and id buy 3 more in a heartbeat

I like cooking it in the pan and then progressively pouring water on it

that's how you would cook rice for a paella, but in my case 9.9/10 times I cook rice I will boil it first with water in a pot, and if I want to fry it later, I will have it get a bit crunchy with the pan afterwards

Yes, but I am not sure whether the american recipe adds tomato sauce to it or not. The Catalan/Spanish version does. Tomato sauce with a bit of onion to sweeten the formula, some sausage (that’s an extra from my mom’s recipe), and then a bit of butter to make it nicer to the taste and tons of cheese on top. 😊

US formula usually starts with just the base pasta and cheese. Of course, there's plenty of room to add to it as desired.

Yeah, I get that when the Americans state "mac & cheese", well, that's that. Tons of each, nothing more. I have actually rarely eaten that (maybe back when I was a uni student) but what we do here is add tomato sauce making it a napolitana or bolognese macaroni.
