#Remote Startup Gadget

I feel like this would work better as a >=2-part thing, where you have a starter receiver (could be a general receiver for other stuff, if need be) and it can be set a channel of sorts. Then, a gadget that sends the signal to the starter receiver to start the locomotive, which can select between different channels. Could be limited to a range similar or a bit smaller than the loco remote.
Agreed. I should've conveyed that better in the original post.
I'd like to refer you to this specific message in a related thread #1478056159700324352 message
It's a somewhat different problem, but the solution is pretty much the same
I understand, but this gadget is more meant to control multiple locomotives from one cab, instead of teleporting between 4 cabs, for better immersion
When you bring immersion into the equation, the remote startup gadget isn't really that immersive. It's more for convenience than immersion. In real trains, there's no such thing as a remote startup like there is in cars. There is an "auto startup" that automatically primes and starts the motor with just the push of a button, but no remote startup. An example of an "auto startup" sequence can be found in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_f1cE3lCwk
My first SD70ACE observed in start up & as expected amazing.
