Ability to interact with the corkboard/PC in the Museum office to get in-game hints for demonstrator locations, possibly at the cost of money and/or being gated behind certain licenses (something like "Make more contacts with experienced DVRT personnel to get rumors about the demonstrators").
Hints could come in different levels of specificity ("southwest of the map" -> "in City West" -> "north side of City West") and, while I'm not sure there's a good way to track this, possibly being able to indicate whether the locomotive is in one of the station spawns or one of the rare trackside ditch/riverbank spawns. Probably check for the closest station office and list that and the the compass direction, and if the distance is very far from the office then add "in a ditch or river" to the specific location
Also potentially serving as a record of the player personally finding any locomotive
